Hello, my name is Beatrice, and I am The Girl from the Ghetto‘s baby. She likes to joke around that I am the World’s First Plus-Sized Cat Model. She is a very good mommy, and sometimes she sneaks me treats when daddy isn’t looking. You see, I’ve been on a diet for over four years and have only lost 12 ounces, as I’m a little lazy and like to lay around in bed. My mommy decided it was time to embrace her daughter’s plus-size figure, rather than try to make me feel bad about it.
My likes are: peace and quiet, reading, cheeseburgers, long naps, and sleeping on mommy’s heating pad with her when her Arthritis is flaring up. I’m also enjoying sleeping on mommy’s belly these days, because if I do I get the best kitty massage ever. Mommy tells me her friend’s cats used to call her “the Hand” because they’d all fight for a massage from her when she came over to visit.
My dislikes are: loud coughing, having my brother put Lego’s on my head, not being able to eat people food, the vacuum cleaner, cats who think they are cuter than me and the great outdoors. I once was found wandering the mean streets of Detroit, and don’t ever want to go back to that shelter where mommy and daddy found me. I am definitely an indoor cat.
I am a Tortoiseshell and Maine Coon kitty who now weighs in at 12.8 pounds. I’m large and I’m proud!

My boys (though I think one is confused after his surgery since he attempts to hump his brother) are 13 & 15lbs – I just tell them they have mommy’s metabolism, lol!
my cat weighs 23 pounds. And all he gets is Iams cate food……no treats. bad genes?
That cat is very nice looking. But my Plus-sized cat Helen is much better looking. Thank you.
My cat is WAY more pretty!!!!!!
awww I love your cat’s plus-size figure…my cat is a plus-size dude weighing in at FIFTEEN pounds!!!!

hi dear
Well, your cat has mine beat … does he have his own page though, I can’t remember seeing him on your blog!
My big boy weighs in at about 25lbs. He is my fatty boom boom and he loves to be held and rocked to sleep. He is a tuxedo cat.
lol but the real reason is he is a coon cat. I just love him, he really fits in with my last name bigger! I have many pic’s on myspace of him under hondacuttie. He has a sister that is not coon but a dsh same color and markings except she has 3 legs and weighs only 8lbs. He knows how to make her disappear
Beatrice, baby, I love full-figured women! You, me, my place. All night. Grrrr!

Pied Type – Oh, you crack me up!!!
Meow. I am a American longhair, and I am 12.4 pounds. Good thing I’m not lazy, I would be in the county fair. Well, not REAL lazy at least.
You see my cat is Bulimic and that is just kind of annoying
I think your cat is cute, I’m off work with a baby and a cat and these little creatures are a godsend
I showed the picture of Beatrice to my cat Charlie. He licked the screen.
I guess it was love at first sight for him.
And he adores plus size girls … he’s a wopping 15.5 lbs. He tells me it’s all muscle, though.
Anybody want to fill me in on what Jenae is talking about? O_o I think she’s lost.
I have been reading comments here and thought I would finally sign up so I could post a comment now and then.
Karen:)
I love your kitty! So cute! Aren’t fat cats fun? I have a tabby calico mix that is 31 lbs. weighted on Feb. 2 at the vet’s. He is such a sweetie and loves to sleep on the end of my bed curled around my feet. He has a younger brother who is a tuxedo but is still a kitten so he is only 6 lbs. but getting there. I love all your other blogs, too!
Krys.Lynn – Awe, thank you so much. Beatrice really is a chub but 31 pounds sounds so much fun! What is your cats name?
Beautiful Pictures! Such a sweetie heart. I have my cat packo on a diet it’s been really tough he lives to eat. So he has found a new past time cuddling. I need to weigh him.
Starlaschat – I knew Packo might be interested. Bea may have put on a little more weight this week, so don’t worry about your own cats weight. Chubby cats are beautiful in my humble opinion!!!
love your cat!!! my cat is 16lbs and the best boy!!!
Freeda – Nothing better than a plus size cat.
Awww I have a Torti cat too! She is my angel, my love, my friend, my baby. I don’t know what I would do without her. When my husband calles her fat I tell him “She is voluptuous, she is curvy and she is fabulous!!”
Xtina – Oh, how fun. Do you have your own blog? I’d like to see her, I bet she is lovely.
I dont have a blog but here is her picture, she is one hot MAMA!!

Awe, your cat is so cute, but of course. I love her. I think Bea is part something else, she has HUGE feet and short legs, which makes her very stubby.
I have two plus sizers myself. Xena never lost her “baby weight” and Shadow just enjoys the good life. But they’re healthy and happy, so no worries.
Beatrice, I’d love for you to meet Jinx! He’s my very plus size baby who is about 16 pounds. He’s been put on a diet and isn’t liking that at all! He likes long naps, warm laps and loses his mind when turkey is being served!

Michele- I just yelled to Bea that she had another cat wanting to meet her and she meowed, lol! Your baby is very adorable!!!
Hey Beatrice,
Wow you have beautiful eyes!
- Maytag the Cat
Thanks Maytag, its a shame Bea is shy!
Beatrice appears to be a Maine Coon. If that’s the case, her size is within normal range for her breed.
Thanks Michelle – We have been wondering about her being one. The Humane Society told us she was all tortie.
She’s part Norwegian Forest Cat. Very beautiful.
I’m a cat lover too!!! I have two cats! We have dysautonomia and love cats! What a coincidence!
Jessy -I love it! If only Beatrice had a tiny t-shirt that said “someone who loves me suffers from Dysautonomia!”
haha! I would buy it too!!!
cute info about kitty. mine, scooter, is the love of my life. had her for going on 15 years now! however, i was even more intrigued by your tête-à-tête with………”chooch”……….(obviously a moron). anyway, you get ‘em girl
cool blog, sounds like you’ve come a long way in your life. best wishes
Gemini – Thanks! Scooter sounds like a great name for a cat.
Greetings to Beatrice from Cookie…the tuxedo girl cat often referred to as “Tranny” as she sports a mustache. She hates that.
She loves to torture her baby brother Dingo, and fight with her big brother Luke. Like Beatrice, she was once on the mean streets…ending up with her siblings in a paper bag on the side of the road. Now she likes her new life and being spoiled.
If only she didn’t fart so much.
Amy – Betwen your “referred to as “Tranny” as she sports a mustache. She hates that” and “If only she didn’t fart so much” I’ve got to meet this cat, she sounds impossible not to love!
Beatrice is a beutiful kitty! I have a Maine Coon also, but he only was 10lbs but thats good for him because he only weighed 2lbs when i rescued him. I also wanted to tell you Ilove your blog!
Single Country Gal – A 2 pound Maine Coon? That poor baby was STARVING! I’ll be more than happy to come take a look at Shadow, as well as pass along your praise to Beatrice. Thanks for taking the time to let me know you love my blog.
Beatrice is beautiful. I had a Maine Coon as well who also had extra toes. His name was Thums. He was a “healthy” boy. At his largest he weighed in the 40lb range and the vet had no problem with it. However in the last 2 years of his life he became diabetic and needed to lose weight and got down to about 20lbs. He was a great boy. I still miss him.
Tammy – Thums sounds like a charming fellow. I can’t believe he weighed that much, wow! I’m so sorry for your loss.
