2012 has come so quickly–it seems like just yesterday it was Halloween. Not only did that darn 60 days of reviews and giveaways/Holiday Gift Guide nearly kill me, I spent almost half the month of December coughing my guts out due to a wicked case of Bronchitis. Don’t laugh at the mask picture–when my oldest got sick and tried to reinfect me with her germs right after I finally got better, I was actually forced to wear this mask all night.
Between the fatigue from writing 50+ product reviews in 45 days, and the new personal drama in my life that has me literally holding back vomit because I’m so upset I feel like I have to throw up, I’ve been neglecting my blog lately. I’m still mad that I never got to write a 2011 recap, or post my fancy New Years Eve picture, so I’m sharing that photo now, even though I know it is way to late to do so. I made this picture months ago, so enjoy it. I think Beatrice’s hat is just so silly and fun, don’t you?
The only other big news that I can share with you is that I chopped off 10 inches of hair a few weeks ago. I love my haircut, especially since I was sick of doing long hair for the past 2 years.
So, here is the new hairdo, just flat ironed and freshly cut. What do you think?
I have been meaning to take pictures of my hair done all different way: hot rollers, flipped up, flipped under, half up, etc., but I have come to the realization that I can never remember to take pictures when my hair is done and looks great. You should have seen my hair for the job interview I went on–so cute. I also don’t want to go upstairs at 1:00 a.m. to put on make up and do my hair, so this is all you are going to get. You’ll just have to use your imagination.
So, how have you been spending the past few weeks? Did you do anything special for the holidays, or have you been thinking of chopping off your hair?

I love your haircut! It looks fantastic!
Jaime – Oh, thank you! I wish I had some better pictures up now, darn it. I’m not capturing the great hair moments, lol.
I love it Gigi! Beautiful! I’m getting a new color and do today. I always wait too long between cuts. I can’t wait to feel pretty again. Tee hee. Happy New Year. Hope you feel better soon.
Sherri – Fun for you! I hope you like your new do, too.
That was the first time in my life that I went 5 months without a haircut or highlight–yikes.
Looks very nice.
Thanks Peter!
Super cute!!!! I wish I had bangs like that. It’s always fun to get a new ‘do!
Sue – Thank you. The nice part is that if I don’t want bangs that day, they are long enough to clip back, or I can style my hair via blowdrying without them.
Your hair is darling! I love it!
Now I want to cut off 10 inches!
Thank you for posting this. You know I”ve been on pins & needles.
Jean – Ha ha ha, you made me laugh with that pins and needles comment! Thanks for being such a loyal reader.
Nice cut, frames your face nicely!
Thanks t6834blB!
…so glad you are “back”. Happy new year!
Vicki – Thank you, and a happy New Year to you, too!
Love your new hairstyle! I love your before/after pic, it reminds me of infomercials where the person looks all sad/angry in their “before,” but in the “after” they’re super smiley and all primped up, as if they’re fooling anyone.
Mandy – Thanks! Actually, we were going for that sort of same look you see in an infomercial, lol!
Absolutely love the new look! I got mine cut shorter in a similar way a few years back and love it, I think you pull it off even better!
