About The Girl from the Ghetto’s 2011 Holiday Gift Guide:
For the first time ever, I will be featuring a 2011 Holiday Gift Guide. I thought it would be fun to profile some of my favorite products and books, as well as find new items that would make great gifts for my readers. Not only will I be reviewing some incredible items, I will be hosting fabulous giveaways and offering some great discount codes to help you shop this holiday season.
I wanted to do this gift guide because each year I donate new, unwrapped gifts to several local charities. Since my charity budget has decreased this year, I thought this gift guide would be a great way for me to donate more items. I’ll be donating ALL of the books and toys I receive, and most of the products (Ok, I am keeping a pair of gloves, a candle and a book mark, but only because I really need them) to my favorite Michigan charities. As someone who grew up poor and received gifts each Christmas from strangers (Thus my blog name), I really know how happy these products and books will make so many people.
Are you looking for some gift ideas for someone on your holiday shopping list this year? Do you need something unique for that special co-worker, friend or relative who is hard to shop for, or who seems to have it all? Are you working on a limited budget? No worries, because I have plenty of budget-friendly suggestions as well. Look no further, because I have some great suggestions for you, as this guide will be filled with wonderful gifts and books for women, men, teens, children and toddlers.
