YogaToes Giveaway

Do you have foot problems? I do, and I’m tired of having them. My feet have been hurting me since I was 13 years-old, when I broke several toes. I also have a connective tissue disease which causes skin, muscle, tendon, and vein weakness everywhere in my body. I have everything from Venus Insufficiency to Neuropathy to poor circulation in my feet. When you throw in my Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and bone spurs in both feet, I’m in a lot of pain every day of my life. I have tried dozens of pain medications, and most make me feel drugged out, so I live life through the mind-over-matter approach–I make myself forget the pain. Still, it’s not something than can be done 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so I’m always on the lookout for products that help easy my pain naturally.

When I found out there was a Michigan-based company that created something called YogaToes®, I was intrigued. Not only do I love to support and promote local businesses, but the product they created seemed pretty cool to me, because it could be used while doing something else, such as reading, writing, watching tv, and blogging. I love to multi-task, and I was more than happy to receive a pair of YogaToes® to review for this blog.

YogaToes® spread, stretch and exercise your toes all while you relax. They strengthen foot muscles and work to align your foot structure properly. You circulation is also improved by using YogaToes. In fact, they work to improve common foot problems such as Fatigue, Bunions, Corns, Crossed Toes, Hammertoes, Plantar Fasciitis, Varicose Veins and Poor Circulation.

I know you must be asking yourself how can something so simple do so much? Well, according to YogaPro.com:

The patented ergonomic design of YogaToes® works between, above and beneath toes to stretch them apart from each other, away from the ball of the foot and down from the top of the foot. To stimulate this effect, spread your fingers apart and out as far as you can. You can feel the muscles working and stretching. Tight, weak muscles become flexible and stronger. The posture of your foot can realign, and the muscles are strong enough to support improved posture. Stretching and working the muscles increases circulation. You know how good you feel after a workout or a massage. Now your feet can enjoy the same results! All you have to do is slip into a pair of YogaToes®.

Sounds good, right? Well, I put their product to the test a few weeks ago. The directions told me to slowly increase the time I wore my YogaToes®, starting off 10-15 minutes a day, up to an hour. Take my advice and follow these directions. It’s the same thing when you wear orthotics, as I do–your feet aren’t used to the change, and if you wear them too long, well, you’ll be sorry, because they are going to hurt. After a week or so of wearing my YogaToes®, I noticed that my feet started to feel perkier. They seemed to crave the YogaToes®, and wearing the soft and flexible gel-filled product felt very comfortable on my feet. I was more than happy to keep on using my YogaToes®. I can only describe this feeling to what a deep tissure massage feel like on the rest of my body. I have a horrible spine, so when I get a massage, it really hurts. Afterwards, it still hurts. Magically, the next day, I feel extremely flexible and pain-free. YogaToes® gives me a similar feeling of relief, and I can’t tell you how happy my husband is these days, since I have to bug him less for foot massages. Not to mention the benefits they have on my circulation.

YogaToes® come in several colors: blue, purple, pink and clear. They also come in different varieties, such as YogaToes® Sport, YogaToes® Gems, and on my wish list, YogaToes® Sensations. YogaPro also offers Gift Sets,  Toeless Socks and YogaHands, which I will also being reviewing in the near-future. I’m really happy with the results I’ve seen with my own pair of YogaToes®.

I used to have Plantar Fascitis and bursitis, but those are both better. (Losing weight has helped.) However, I now feel like I always have my socks wadded up just behind the toes. When I check, the socks are smooth. I even get the sensation barefoot. I don’t know what’s going on. I do get frequent tingling in the ends of fingers and toes. This looks like it might help.
