Contact Keeper Giveaway and Review

Need to get organized in 2011? I know I do, which is why I was so excited to accept these Contact Keepers to review for my blog, and offer a giveaway of your choice of keeper to 3 lucky winners. Just look at what I was storing all of my blog contact info, business cards and notes in before Contact Keeper entered my life. Yikes, right?
I went from two separate bulky folders to one slim yet hearty and portable keeper, the medium Contact Keeper, pictured below. I can’t tell you how happy I am to have everything in one place, finally.
Contact Keepers come in three different sizes:
The LARGE Contact Keeper (10″ x 12½”) portfolio was designed to be used in meetings.  Thirty letter-sized contact pages are included. This size was perfect for me at work. Even though we live in the digital age, I didn’t always like to lug my laptop around to meetings, and I hate storing all of my business contacts in Outlook. I like to be able to have important information tangible and easily accessible, as computers crash. And, of course, the day my work computer crashed, I needed to reach a contact and could do so because I had his business card and all of my notes tucked safely in my Contact Keeper. With a calendar and room for a notepad, this Contact Keeper was my favorite one.
The MEDIUM Contact Keeper (6¼” x 7½”) is intended to be used during short meetings, and when walking through trade shows.  It includes thirty contact pages. I used my medium Contact Keeper for my blog and all of my personal contacts. Surprisingly, I used all of the pages plus all of my refill pages. I had no idea that I had that many business cards lying around my house. Instead of storing all of this information in two areas in my house, now every contact I have is now safely stored in one place, right next to my computer. I love that this keeper could easily fit in a carry-on and I wish that I had one last year when I went to my Book Bloggers Convention.
The SMALL Contact Keeper (2½” x 4″) is carried in a pocket to hold business cards for distribution, and to allow for the collection of them. Each note pad has thirty adhesive pages that are the size of business cards, which you can write your notes on and stick on the business cards. When you are on the go and need to pass out a business car, one of those metal pocket holders doesn’t really do the trick. I could easily slip this into my pocket or purse and whip it out if someone asked for my card. It’s also a very discrete way of keeping track of who you met if you network at an event.

The LARGE and MEDIUM Contact Keepers have slots on the outside so you can quickly and easily collect business cards. Refill kits are available and Contact Keepers can even be customized with a business or event logo. Pretty fancy, right? I had been using my large and small Contact Keepers at work until I lost my job last month. However, I do plan on taking my small and medium Contact Keepers t this year’s BookExpo America and Book Blogger Convention, and will use my large Contact Keeper for job interviews and job leads.

If you have some leftover Christmas or holiday money, why not consider making a great investment by purchasing one of these Contact Keepers. They are now available at 1,100 Office Depot stores and at Office Depot. Isn’t it time you got organized? I absolutely love these keepers and would buy them on my own, or buy them as a gift for anyone I know.

  4. oh good lord, where to even start? i’ve been searching high and low for the perfect planner/organizer/contact keeper for quite some time. when i freelanced this was SO hard to do, and i’m far better at doing a lot of these things on paper as opposed to a computer (plus, i can’t afford a super fancy phone that handles it all for me anyway!)

i desperately need to get organized, just ask my boss, and this would help tremendously :)

  5. i am also a fan of you on facebook, subscribe to your blog in reader and follow you on twitter.

  16. desperately searching for a way to organize my messes – would love the medium size keeper! Thanks for the giveaway.

  17. I currently work for the Chicago Tribune as a staff writer and also write for a variety of minor publications. In my line of work, contact information is a must. Honestly, you’re screwed without it. I rely on my computer to keep me organized, but last year when it crashed, I lost pretty much everything. Some of the contacts I hadn’t moved into my email were lost and I spent months getting everything back. Needless to say, I’ve learned my lesson.

I would appreciate a large size Contact Keeper. I have a large amount of contacts and to organize everything, the large is definitely the size I need. The thing about the Contact Keeper that really caught my attention was that each page has an actual slot for the business card itself. You don’t have to write everything down or fuss with a clear sleeve for the card to go in. The card goes in and comes back out easily. But I’ll admit that I have a soft spot for quality freebies like this. :)

Following both you and CK on Facebook and Twitter, subscribed, retweeted (http://twitter.com/#!/thehongfucius), visited the site and let you know what I like about it, and here’s the blog: (http://thehongfucius.tumblr.com/post/2619492986/contact-keeper). Which comes to a grand total of 13 entry credits.

    Fingers crossed!

  35. Hi, I think the medium size would help me keep my piano studio more organized. Currently, I have 20+ students and I have little pieces of paper around my studio reminding me to find sheet music or check on their tuition payments, etc.

My husband and I lead the youth group at our church. I think that the medium size would be very helpful to keep up with each of the kids involved in our youth group.

  36. I want and need this for my Friend Harry who is a Businessman that runs 2 drug stores here in town

  37. My husband desperately needs the medium size. He has business cards all over the house and his truck.
