  1. I’m going to join you!!!!! With book club, audiobooks and baby books, I know I will be able to accomplish this goal. Just think of all the fun and exciting things we will find….I’m going to broaden my reading arms and pick stuff I wouldn’t think to read before. Very exciting!!!!!

A few suggestions…have you read The Namesake or The Help…I just finished those and they are AMAZING!!!!! I really enjoyed both of them.

    • Serendipitous8 – Good for you! I need to listed to an audio books once, that sounds like so much fun. I read The Help earlier this year, it should be in my list. Tell me more about The Namesake, because it is ringing a bell for me.

      • Audio books are so good. They add a whole new dimension to the book. I highly recommend it. I get all of my audio books from the library.

The Namesake chronicles an Indian family throughout the different generations. It was so good, I was always texting my friend about it and I made my mom read it. It was also a movie.

  2. Pingback: A Little Bit Of Everything « The Girl from the Ghetto

  3. Hey! Look at that! We are about halfway through the year, AND you are about halfway toward reaching your 100 book goal! THAT’S SO COOL! You are officially my idol.

Keep up the good work, and the excellent book reviews. I’m always in the market for a new book to read, and your insights have provided me with a lot of food for thought . . .

  4. Yes, you can easily do it! I am up to 74 so far on my Goodreads list and now I am blogging about my reads. I find that the more I read the faster I read–usually about a book a day. My MLIS has slowed me down a bit this year, but now that summer has arrived I am back in action. Keep it up and don’t lose faith!!
