Photo of the Day Contest

I love doing short photo posts, especially since I am in need of a time saver today!  I am a busy step-mom who has to grocery shop, finish reading a book, make dinner, make lunches, help with homework, then help make a million chocolate tortilla’s for my daughter’s Day of the Dead celebration in school tomorrow, as well as attend my last grant writing course tonight, all by 11:00pm tonight.

This photo was taken a few weeks ago at The Henry Ford, located in Dearborn, Michigan, where we have a family membership.  Love that place, and if you have never been, please go, it is the best museum in Michigan.  The DIA is a close second, but The Henry Ford honestly has something for everyone in your family, no matter how old or young they are.

Can you guess which city this famous sign came from?

First person to comment with the right answer wins, and you can come with me to The Henry Ford for free, as well as bring two of your children to tag along.  Unfortunately, this contest applies to Michigan residents only.

  5. I know this is off topic, but what the heck is chocolate tortilla? This Texas girl wants to know!

    • Jen – Sadly, no one offered to share them with me, and took them into her bedroom so I couldn’t sneak any, lol! Regulare tortillas, grilled w/butter, filled with choc. chips, cinnamon, and sugar. Vanilla yogurt on the side. They looked great.

      • Hmm, kinda like a chocolate quesadilla…sounds interesting! Thanks.

        • Jen 512 – Right, that is what I thought, Quesa. I’m so miffed I didn’t get to taste one.
