Because I find both pictures hysterical. (Not the kid crying, but the adult reacting like a child herself.) That eyeroll is just killing me this morning.
Thank you Kate, for reminding us who you really are when the cameras are off.

How about Kris Allen beating out Adam Lambert on American Idol? It is such a joke and convinces me tha Idol is rigged. They make so much money from this show, and I’m ondering if that EW Magazine hurt Adam’s chances at winning the whole thing. Um, yeah, Kris had it right when he said Adam should have won this. I think Kris was in complete shock, and I said earlier that Idol was going to work it to pick the normal kid on Idol.
Adam, you will have a good career, don’t be bummed out today…

Are you mad? Idol have been pushing for a Adam win all season. Kris wasn’t even supposed to be in the top 5 let alone win the thing. All that can be said is Kris had the most fans as he is safe, simple and like you said the ‘normal’ kid. Adam was way to polarising, I do however think both will have great careers as they both have a place in the current market; Kris with the Jason Mraz’s and John Mayer’s and Adam as the male version of Lady GaGa. I for one will be buying both their albums when they drop them.

I know that Idol has pushed Adam all season. Because he is fantastic! I think by calling Adam the one to watch and Kris the underdog early on they have convinced viewers that these two had something, and just like a good kentucky derby, we love it when the underdog wins. I don’t beleive 100% that the votes matter. Come on Adam has the strongest voice, stage presence, and courange out of any other Idol contestant. Why wouldn’t he win, unless it was in the plans. Kris is the safe bet, Adam was not.

Can’t wait until those kids grow up and start doing “tell all” interviews about what a crazy b*tch their mom was. And aren’t we all just a little curious as to how all these kids are going to turn out from all this hub-bub? Out of 8 kids, we’re bound to see some interesting tales emerge. Poor kids.

On my Facebook status last night I said that’d I was watching Idol to “see Adam win, or to question the sanity of America.” My brain was composing things like “…or see proof once again that homophobes and conservatives dial more often” or “…. or further despise the guy at my office who said ‘THAT fairy!? We don’t want HIM to win!’”
But really, Adam, weren’t you breathing a sigh of relief? Everyone REALLY got to hear you sing, and to top it off, WITH BRIAN MAY flaunting your amazing can-be-like-Freddie voice. You were already a performer, you’re only going to get more recognition now, AND you don’t have to sing Kara’s song on every morning talk show! Can we all say “Whew!”
All the news shows are bragging on the 2nd place winners and how far they’ve gone, and it certainly is true… I just hope that there were just-over-1/2-a-million Kris lovers, and not just-over-1/2-a-million “Fairy” haters. Someone said to me “If he just hadn’t painted his nails!” WHAT IS WRONG WITH US!!???
We can’t acknowledge amazing talent because we’re afraid of what’s different than us!? Is my co-worker afraid that by dialing in a vote for Adam that his index finger will go gay?
My only only consulation for our idiotic society is that one year, not so long ago, someone might not have dialed for fear their finger would turn Black.
My steadfast belief is that it was my parents’ generation, as parents, to teach us to be accepting of all races. And given what their parents were teaching them, some had a challenge, but cleary we HAVE made considerable advances.
And so, I FIRMLY believe and will tell anyone who listens that it is my job, in this day in age, to teach my children that ALL HUMANS have the same rights. Despite color of skin, religious beliefs, or sexual preference. Everyone has a right to happy life. Especially nail painters!
Yowza! Where did all THAT come from?!
Congratulations, Adam. You are on your way!
and… (shrugging and caring less), I have never been able to stomach Kate and her berating. While I don’t necessarily condone infidelity, I hope Jon did get a bang-up night out with a chickadee. If they’d been in suburbia, struggling to pay bills, leaning on one another for support and strength, I might have shaken a finger at him… but if they didn’t have their payroll coming in like it does, he wouldn’t have found time for the chickadee. Kate! Grrrrr.
Holy Shit. I’m pouring out the rest of this coffee.

Cran – My office he is refered to as that “Weird guy.” Come on, anyone with a brain can realize he has more talent than a lot of successful singers. This way he can get a better offer on a record deal. I feel bad he lost, but hell, we live in America, a country that refuses to let people who love each other marry legallay in most states.

Once those kids sign up for the show they’re pretty much locked into an exclusive record deal with the AI producers (aka Simon Fuller) no matter where they place on the show. I’m pretty sure the losers couldn’t get independent record deals if they tried, AI owns them for the foreseeable future. Why would they let a talent like Adam go somewhere else anyway? Simon Fuller is still making money off of Clay Akin’s (gay) ass and he didn’t win either. One thing is for sure, Adam will have a career, and AI will still get a piece of that pie.

True that about Adam. He is going to be huge I think.

Um, just a thought, maybe the kids are better off with Kate traveling all the time?
I know that everyone’s mad that she’s getting freebies and not spending more time with her children, but I’d personally send $5 if it would keep her away from those children until she grows up.

Snoilog- You might be right, it has been so long since I’ve seen her talk on the show I forgot what she looked like.

Haha, that picture of Kate is priceless. But I’m not sure what her body is doing…is she falling? I think the weight of her own narcissism is pushing her down, or maybe she can’t stand anyone else’s whining but her own and she’s melting like the Wicked Witch of the West with a fire hose on her.
BTW–I think that’s Cara crying, not Mady, but I feel equally sorry for both kids. I hate when people criticize Mady, that kid is stressed out and has no one stable in her life to help her cope with her nutty parents. The fact that she’s had an endless parade of disposable nannies can’t help much either. She screams and cries because she knows her life is getting fucked up by her parents.

Jen – I feel really bad for Mady, too, and I think privacy would be the best for her. This may be too much stress for her and I can’t understand why people won’t even consider the possibility on here. I am not saying this because I am jealous. I am saying this because I have worked with children for years, and with large groups of emotional impaired children. How can it be good for her to have her behavior taped and forever caught for her friends at school to make fun of? She needs peace in her life. I am not being a hater, I am being serious here. All those kids are at risk, damn, why do the KON worshipers not understand this?

John and Kate’s daughter is named MADDY (Mad-dee) not Mady ( MAY-dee).
Kate Gosselin is a self centred bitch from hell. She has this weird, obsessive, obnoxious, and terribly annoying sense of entitlement all because of her chemically enhanced ability to spit out multiple offspring. She is not extraordinary, either is her bulbous family.
Sure, the kids are cute, just like most kids, but she is a passive aggressive harpy. Clueless and scared of her own shadow, therefore, everyone else should be clueless and scared of their own shadow too.
She projects this “holier than thou” attitude all throughout every episode of their stupid and inane “television show”. As if she is the only one with a few kids. Her false humilty is obvious and transpearent. She’s a phoney.
