Lost’s The Little Prince – It’s not Aaron, but can you guess who it is?

Damn you Benjamin Linus, you really are an evil genius!  I knew that it was Ben behind the whole blood sample thing with the mysterious attorney, Dan Norton.  I loved how the show threw in the whole “Red Herring” by showing Clare’s mom at the hotel with the attorney.  Tonight, LOST was good, but not great …. one of those episodes you need to watch to get you to the next episode.

And, by the way, your going to have to read this whole post before you find out who The Little Prince is … I know that it’s not Aaron!

Here are my top ten moments from tonight’s episode, The Little Prince:
1. Charlotte passing out for over 10 minutes from her so called seizure … and asking Daniel “Who is he?”  Is she suffering the brain mania yet?  I love how Daniel trys to pass it off as Bad jet lag that … and Juliet’s retort “Bad jet lag doesn’t make you hemorrhage.”  No it does not Juliet.  With Miles nose starting to bleed as well, we basically learn that Miles has been to the island before, and doesn’t even know it.  So, besides being a ghost whisperer, he must have been the baby in the beginning of last week’s episode.  You remember?  Dr. Candle, the one who does all of the fun training video’s for the Dharma Initiative.  So, how did he come to leave the island, and never know that he was once there before?  Finally, we get a little insight to this mystery man.
2. Kate telling Jack “I have always been with you” during the flashforward on the boat once they left the island, which has also now become a flashback.  Jumping through time is getting fun, huh?  Kate, you have never always been with Jack.  Remember banging Sawyer?  You certainly weren’t with Jack then …

3. Sun getting a glock that doesn’t even exist … or does it?  Since when do glocks have silver on them?  Glocks are black.  Curious?  Well, she is rich as hell.  I love that it was delivered to her in a Godiva box of chocolates.  Even more, I love that those were really Godiva.  Yum, now I want candy … and I want her to go crazy and shoot someone else other than Ben next week … will it be Aaron, Jack, or like someone dumb like Ben’s new attorney?  Stay tuned.
4. Kate’s address being in the pocket of Sayad’s would be assasin – 42 Panoramic Crest.  Again, and always with the numbers.  That and that the slip where Ben was having the gang meet at is of corse Slip 23, in Long Beach marina.  What do these damn numbers mean?
5. Sawyer’s tender moment when he came across Kate back in time seeing Kate helping Clare give birth to Aaron.  Not only do see his lip quivering, and see him yearn for Kate, but we see the importance of Aaron’s birth, and Kate being there.  What does the damn kid have that Ben wants?
6. Also, I think somehow important was that John Locke knew it was the night that someone turned on the light in the hatch … and how he didn’t want to go back to that time, because he had to go through it.  This was the night Boone died … and he knew it, and didn’t go back to try and change the past to save Boone … why not?  Anyone else find this weird?
7. Best quote of the night – Sawyers “Time travel is a bitch!”  Say it ain’t so Sawyer.
8. The weird canoe that was found on the beach … is it me, or was it the same canoe that Ben’s daughter once took to bring Sawyer and Kate back to the main Island when she was trying to help them escape?  Sure, there was a weird water bottle in it … but its like it got there from the future, but the Others were using it in the past.  Crazy!
9. Juliet getting a nosebleed … and she has been living on the Island for years.  Obviously, now its something more than just over exposure to the Island.
10. The new whack pack of Daniel, Charlotte, Miles, Juliet, Sawyer and John getting shot at by unknown gunmen in the water … and them jumping through time again, only to find themselves in the middle of a storm, taking shelter on the Island and finding a new raft that has just washed ashore.  Best part … and I knew it … was that Jin is alive, and was found by no other than Danielle Rousseau and he group of Frenchmen.  They seem mysterious … and warry of Jin, who realizes who they are when duh, he sees a pregnant woman and she introduces herself as Danielle.  So … beign on the boat five miles from shore allowed him to jump through time as well?  And how exactly does Ben know he survived?

Does anyone reading this think that Aaron isn’t The Little Prince … and no, its not Ben either, it’s actually Miles Straume?  Get it, his daddy was the figurehead of Dharma?  Tricky, aren’t they?  He’s back to take over his father’s kingdom … what does than mean for Ben?

    1. My thought on #6 — John Locke probably considers Boone’s death as a sacrifice to the Island; a sacrifice that worked out well for him. Boone was about to get that radio on the plane to work right before it fell out of the trees, killing him and destroying the radio. We all know that Locke wants to stay on the Island forever and if he had gotten that transmission out (which I actually think Boone does) then bad news for Locke. Secondly, after Boone is sacrificed, Locke sees the light, literally, and we all know what happens from there.

That hatch is still more important than Boone’s life to him.

    2. I don’t watch LOST..damn I feel so out of the loop!

    3. I read the below post and thought maybe ppl would enjoy it.

It was one of those episodes where we love Sawyer even more then we already do…we start to hate Ben ever more then we already do and we want say more, more, more. The bloody nose thing is bothersome and i’d like some answers but I guess we will all have to wait. My favorite line was when Sawyer says Thank God when they flashed with the unknown strangers firing at them and then once the flash happens he takes it back.

I believe the whispers that we have heard in the past is the time travelers whoever and whenever they might be……Also interesting that John did not want to go back to the hatch and in fact he went out of his way not to even get close to it. Jack’s line he (Ben) is with me makes Kate look like she is no longer with Jack. Can’t wait to see Ben’s proof of JIN being alive and can’t wait to see who she is going to kill!!!! Like husband like wife kill kill kill….dad would be so proud if she hadn’t taken his company from him. Talk at u all next week.

    4. I’m trying to remember… By the time Locke had pounded on the hatch and the light went on, had Boone already died? Maybe it was too late to even try to save Boone anyway at that point, and Locke didn’t want to relive all that pain. (I wouldn’t.)

BUT… I don’t understand why everyone is taking Daniel’s knowledge of not changing the past at face value. Wouldn’t someone test it? Even Sawyer just accepted it and didn’t keep trying to get someone to open the hatch. Kind of out of character I think.

    5. Dube – Boone had died, yes!! I think Locke thought of Boon as a sacrifice to the island, one he felt bad about, but still, a sacrifice. You might be right about Daniel trying to test changing the past via time travel. Hmmm… interesting.

Pretrial Guy -Yes, perhaps Sawyer was thanking God because the whole show is about religion! And yes, seeing how Ben tells Sun that Jin is alive is VERY exciting … how does he know? Ohhh, I can’t wait for the very last episode of this show … although I am going to be very sad without it.

ShannonMI – Never too late to start watching.

Jen512 – I totally agree with you about the sacrifice thing. But I think that the Island is more important to Locke than anything ….

    6. Glocks with silver slides do exist, and are very easy to get. You can also get them in 2 tone OD green.
