1. WERE YOU NAMED AFTER ANYONE? Almost. My mom almost named me Sandy, after her best friend. Instead, she went with something that means something cool in Latin. Latin is so cool, I wish I lived in the 60s so I could have studied it.
2. WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU CRIED? Last weekend actually. I’m being a big baby about everything these days. I’m going to way too many specialists at once (Cardio, Gastro, Neurologist, Rheumatologist, and a Pulmonary Specialist!) & getting some more new diagnosis – Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis. I’m even having a few more tests done – Ultrasound of my goiter (Disgusting, right!) … because they found a nodule; Taking new meds that give me chest pain. And I’m convinced that no one realizes I have Lupus except me and my physical therapist and friend T.
3. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE LUNCH MEAT? Salami. I do like a roast beef from time to time, too.
4. DO YOU HAVE KIDS? I do. One of each. I didn’t give birth to them, but their mine part time each week.
5. IF YOU WERE ANOTHER PERSON WOULD YOU BE FRIENDS WITH YOU? Of course I would. I’m fucking fabulous.
6. DO YOU USE SARCASM A LOT? I hope so!
7. DO YOU STILL HAVE YOUR TONSILS? Yep. Although I had enough sore throats that they should have taken them. Then again, Medicaid isn’t the greatest insurance.
8. WOULD YOU BUNGEE JUMP? In my 20s I almost did. Now I’m terrified to drinve after dark. Imagine me on a bungee cord, ha ha ha …
9. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CEREAL? Cinnamon Life. Love it!!!
10. DO YOU UNTIE YOUR SHOES WHEN YOU TAKE THEM OFF? I rarely wear shoes with laces, but when I do I just slip them on and off. Too much trouble.
11. DO YOU THINK YOU ARE STRONG? I am on the inside, but now that my spine is collapsing, I’m weak as shit. I used to be a bouncer for pete’s sake, now I can’t even carry a laundry basket!
12. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE ICE CREAM? Ben and Jerry’s Chocolate Fudge Brownie. Its a good thing I’ve never seen it sold in a large tub.
13. WHAT IS THE FIRST THING YOU NOTICE ABOUT PEOPLE? Eyes and their smile. I can usually tell if someone is an asshole just by their eyes.
14. RED OR PINK? Blue. I do enjoy pink, but blue is my signature color.
15. WHAT IS THE LEAST FAVORITE THING ABOUT YOURSELF? How I am exhausted by everything, even something simple like just by going to the bathroom. I need a nap all the time now. It’s cutting into my blogging time even.
16. WHO DO YOU MISS THE MOST? My old fun self. Seriously! That girl rocked.
17. WHAT COLOR SHOES ARE YOU WEARING? Please, I have never blogged at home in anything other than pjs and slippers.
18. WHAT WAS THE LAST THING YOU ATE? A steak from Maggianos. I love steak. Thank you inlaws!
19. WHAT ARE YOU LISTENING TO RIGHT NOW? Seinfeld rerun.
20. IF YOU WERE A CRAYON, WHAT COLOR WOULD YOU BE? Blue.
21. FAVORITE SMELLS? Burning leaves in the fall, Italian food cooking, and the Satsuma (Orange) Body Butter from The Body Shop. Heaven!
22. WHO WAS THE LAST PERSON YOU TALKED TO ON THE PHONE? My stepdaughter.
23. FAVORITE SPORTS TO WATCH? None. HATE watching sports.
24. HAIR COLOR? Blonde.
25. EYE COLOR? Blue and green.
26. DO YOU WEAR CONTACTS? Yep. I’m blind.
27. FAVORITE FOOD? Dessert, bread and steak all tied for first place.
28. SCARY MOVIES OR HAPPY ENDINGS? Happy endings. I’m over scary movies. But really I love to watch weird independent films and dramas the best. Or gangster movies. Give me a fucked up movie like Fight Club and I’m a happy camper.
29. LAST MOVIE YOU WATCHED? Almost Famous. Dear god, its the perfect rock and roll movie. I just love Cameron Crowe. He finds the best actors for his films (Ok, not Elizabethtown, but all the rest!) the best music, and he writes great dialog.
30. WHAT COLOR SHIRT ARE YOU WEARING? I’m wearing blue fleece pjs.

33. FAVORITE DESSERTS? Chocolate anything. Those peanut butter brownies with whipped chocolate frosting I made last week rocked.
34. I’M MOST LIKELY TO…? Saying the magic phrase “My _______ hurts. Fill in the blank, everything hurts. That and “I don’t feel good.” Its comical.
35. I’M LEAST LIKELY TO…? Go out drinking. I’m so over drinking. Its nice to be invited thought, thanks A for thinking of me this weekend.
36. WHAT BOOK ARE YOU READING NOW? Nothing at the moment, I finished Iodine by Haven Kimmel a few weeks ago, then got sick, so I’m laying low and sleeping alot lately instead. Loved that book, love the author. She is so cool.
37. WHAT IS ON YOUR MOUSE PAD? We don’t have one.
38. WHAT DID YOU WATCH ON TV LAST NIGHT? Two movies, one Almost Famous and the other Across the Universe, also good. Beatles music. I love that Jim Sturgis. He sings like my boyfriend Ewan McGregor.
39. FAVORITE SOUNDS? Laughter, baby cooing and rock music.
40. ROLLING STONES OR BEATLES? I love them both, but dear god, I have loved The Beatles since I was four. I hope to have a Beatles themed funeral someday. (Yes, I’m weird, but after my Pyschology of Aging class I want to plan my own funeral, esp. after touring a funeral home.) I really really want only Beatles tunes to be playing. And honey if you do one of those DVD things you need to use In My Life for the song.
41. WHAT IS THE FARTHEST YOU HAVE BEEN FROM HOME? I think Germany was the farthest of my travels. God, I love Europe, need to go back again.
42. DO YOU HAVE A SPECIAL TALENT? In my heyday I could put both legs behind my head. I’ve got a little too much arthritis to try it now.

1. WERE YOU NAMED AFTER ANYONE? I was named after my three sisters cuz they were born before me
As soon as they open their mouth I can tell you whether they will be spending any amount of time in my air space.
2. WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU CRIED? Don’t cry..it’s another thing besides the sex life that xanax stole from me. It’s called fake tears in a bottle to keep my eyes from drying out. Don’t mistake the misty for tears.
3. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE LUNCH MEAT? I’ve never understood this concept and stay the hell away from it. I’m more of a salad kind of gal or cheese and crackers.
4. DO YOU HAVE KIDS? There are a couple of people running around saying “mom” alot..and it’s usually followed by “I need”. I’m not sure who their parents really are but they haven’t come back for them so I guess I’ll keep em’. They are kind of cute and pretty witty.
5. IF YOU WERE ANOTHER PERSON WOULD YOU BE FRIENDS WITH YOU? Of course I would. I’m fucking fabulous. I’ll stick with GFTG’S answer on this one. I’d be afraid not to be friends with me!

I loved Almost Famous – what a great movie – I could watch it over and over. Why can I never think of it when someone asks what movies I could watch over and over? LOL. Hockey is awesome too!!

Duh. I just re-read Javajunkee’s list at her place and realized that I thought it was YOU who said you liked hockey but it was DoubleJ. I’m slow sometimes but I think I scrolled up quick while writing my comment and saw her answer instead of yours. LOL. Yup, I’m a dope at times.

I had to take Latin in grade nine. I had just moved to the school and everyone else had taken it for years. I was behind so I was allowed to drop it. Yay!

OK you are totally fabulous!! BUT do you have a yahoo avatar?? Remember the sims? This is like sims for the anti social.. you create a cartoon of you only BETTER! There are two versions of the new and improved you: wafer thin and barely legal or ‘plus size’ wafer thin and barely legal. Which is about a size ten. I could cut off a skin tag that’s a size ten. Anyway, if you don’t spend enough time on the computer, get one.
