I love taking pictures of people when they don’t (Hell, even if they do!) know I’m doing it. People are just so damn crazy, god bless them, and New York certainly doesn’t have their shortage of “individuals!” Here are a few of the fun pictures I snapped this past weekend while in New York. Please keep in mind that all of these shots were on the move, either on the busy streets by foot wearing my fancy leg braces or on top of a double decker tour bus while I was freezing my ass off on top.
They say a pictures speaks a thousand words … let me hear what you think. It takes forever for me to save each picture to my desktop, size it down with one software, and then crop a few pictures using a secondary software when necessary. I have to let the pictures do the talking today … so you tell me what you think was going on!

1. Macy’s Black Friday = madness, I would probably kill someone.
2. Lone Biker = love the steam in the background

4.Homeless= can’t tell because it’s blurry but she looks very young and pretty.
5.funny hats= ok I like hats but you have to draw a line somewhere.

Kaylee – Yes they are, yes they are …
Shannon – Wow, love all your comments. Crazy Coffee Lady looks just like one of my old college professors @ MSU. And she busted me. Homeless – I founf it ironic she was young and hungry and she was sitting outside of a window full of food. Bummer that the picture didn’t turn out. Same with Desperate Soul. And The look on pappys face was classic, god, I love that picture!!!
Electrician and Java – My hubby was the one who spotty Lucy, and yes, she TOTALLY busted me and was pissed off. That is why the pic isn’t clear, I was a little scared of her, lol!!!

This was a fantastic collection of photos! So many great shots I can’t even pick a fave. I loved the Macy’s photo, but the squirrel lady was fascinating, so was the street dancer/mime.
I use a free photo editing program called IrfanView. You can size and crop in the same program. Just Google it if you’re interested. It’s free and easy to use.

I just set the Macy’s photos as my desktop background. Love that photo!

Wendy – I use IrfanView, too. Sometimes I use adobe on the side to crop … I’m learning it, and I’m not especially skilled in it yet. Thanks, and I’m glad you enjoyed the Macy’s picture. It was incredicble. They have like 14 entrances and all looked just like that. SCARY!

Irfan View ROCKS!!! Oh, sorry, got distracted.
Great pictures. They rock too.
I used Tramp Stamp Lucy for my desktop pic. HA! She is scary. Glad you made it back in one piece.

I love the lone biker picture. Those bicyclists (especially the ones with the people carts on the back) were crazy!

Wow. You are brave. I wouldn’t want my picture taken by some random person, I don’t think I could do this comfortably. But I did enjoy seeing these and I do love people watching.

Desperate Soul really made me sad, he doesnt look dirty and he looks like he has a pretty fresh haircut, he looks young.
He reminded me of a runaway.

Xtina, I agree. I always wonder who people get to NY, and why they stay.
