What are YOU good at?

Kaylee, my teenage blogger friend, who you can visit here had posed this question on her blog.  I thought it was an interesting question, so I yanked it from her (Thanks Kaylee!) and thought I’d list my own talents for your reading pleasure:

My talents:

  • I’m a good karaoke singer, but no American Idol.  Total Eclipse of the Heart is my signature song, lol!!!
  • Patient civil servant, a rare thing in my industry
  • Good sense of humor/funny person/sarcastic bitch
  • I read fast (When I can read!)
  • An great student
  • Hair whisperer – just ask my friend Debi, she calls me that – because I can make anyone’s hair look good.  In college girls lined up to have their hair & make-up done by me in exchange for free drinks at the bar.  Which leads me to my next one …
  • Resourceful.  My BFF from college thinks I should get my Masters in Librarian Science.  I think that is a great idea.  But I don’t have $30,000 to do it!
  • TV, Music and Movie Trivia Master.  I always do fantastic on the yearly EW Magazine trivia challenge
  • Faithful blogger
  • Good conversationalist.  I’m the friend you can bring to any event and I’ll find a friend or friends to hang with all night.  I love chatting new people up!
  • Great vacation planner
  • Pretty good photographer
  • Decent cook.  My specialty is appetizers and desserts.  And my meatloaf and cheesy fat bomb potatoes are fabulous!  My spaghetti sauce and lasagna, too, but now I’m just full out bragging.  (I’ve come a long way from buttered noodles and ramon noodles, ok!!!)
  • Great party thrower (More back in the day, but my place is SO SMALL its hard to have parties here)

Tell me what YOU are good at.
