Ok, before you read any further, let me say this - I love those kids, except for Mady, who is just bratty. I love the show. I look forward to Monday nights @ 9pm on TLC. but, I have read something that confirms my thoughts regarding Kate Gosselin – she acts like a bitch. Wow! I can’t believe I just wrote that. I know she works hard and has too many kids. But after reading everything on the internet about her, I have to go with my gut instinct, because, as I learned as a child, if someone makes you feel funny in your tummy, you listen to your gut and run.
Allegedly, Aunt Jody (Jodi?) from Jon and Kate Plus 8 was offered money, as she has a recurring role on the tv show. The producers came to her, told her they wanted to pay her, but they had to clear it with Kate. Jody and her husband, Kate’s brother, asked Kate about it, who in turn banned them from her and her kids lives, the only family on her side that she was speaking to already. Hmmm ….
Kate was alleged to have said if anyone else gets paid for the show, she will quit. WTF?
Have you noticed dear, sweet, patient Aunt Jody is missing from the new season, and they have a young girl with them now? Yep, she and Kate’s brother were booted from the show. The kicker is that this girl is now getting a little $ from the show. What a bitch that Kate is. I feel that she KNEW that Aunt Jody out shined her.

And guess what else is new on the show? Fancy trips and product placement. Have you noticed it started with the kids special day out? It’s now grown to everything from free vacations, free stuffed animals, even free juice! Before, most episodes of Jon & Kate Plus 8 centered around the day-to-day stuff, like potty training or making Monkey Munch, with maybe a zoo trip thrown in to mix things up a bit. Suddenly the Gosselin machine is a promotional juggernaut. Jon just got a hair transplant for free! Businesses, like Nestle and So Cool Mom discovered the benefit to strategically placing their product or 5-star ski resort logo on the show. Everywhere you look, product placements are abundant, which obviously generate some serious traffic. Shoot this weekend I opened up my newspaper and in my coupon section was Kate Gosselin’s tips for organization. Space me! Kate has become so money hungry it sickens me to death.
I’ve spent a ton of time on the web, and have read a lot of other things about Kate. I’m not going to write it all down here, but if you do your own search, you will find out that many people feel the same way. My own hubby HATES her, just HATES her, which I find hysterical.

Yes, her name is Kate and thank you for respectfully referring to me as a “private chef”!!! Okay, seriously now, on filming days, we have what is known (in the world of TV) as “craft services” which is a meal delivered on set for the cast and crew. And on busy shoot days, that is what we have delivered here in organic fashion…and thank God for that! It allows me to peel myself out of the kitchen to do outings or interviews for the show without compromising my families’ nutrition. On the other days, I am in my kitchen cooking…where I most love to be!
Also need to mention that I personally feel that Kate is envious of those ugly 7 babies -the McCaugheys, born in Iowa in 1997 … and remember how they got a free house, free diapers, etc. I think Kate feels she is entitled to everything they had, just because they got it all, her kids should, too.
LOL. So I guess you looked into it, huh? It is just another example of money going to people’s heads I think. Also, we can stop beating ourselves up for not being as clean as Kate now that we know she gets a little help in that arena.

I’ve also read that they get paid for appearances like churches and demand payment and first class travel arrangements. I’ve also heard that they had money before their kids were born and after the sextuplets were born she begged for free stuff and blasted companies that did not give her freebies. SHe makes me sick.

TLC has collected several large families to feature on their channel. Only two are for real…the Rolloffs and Gosslins. Everybody else is suffering from an overactive uterus. Jon and Kate dealt responsibly with a situation they didn’t really plan on. The children have real names; they get hair cuts (not having hair down to their butts); they wear normal clothes (not clothes down to their ankles or boots for shoes); theydo normal things that are age approriate ( not laying piping or using a blow torch). I think everyone who criticizes Kate is just jealous. If Jon was offended by Kate, he could put an end to it. Accept it all for what it is, a screen persona.
I applaud Kate for any ingenuity she comes up with to further her family. Better she gets cash than companies and agencies spending money on illegal immigrants.
I can hardly wait to see the kids go off to school , go trick and treating, go to a dance, be cheerleaders and dancers and actors ands spelling bee spellers.
And Jon and Kate are a handsome couple with 8 gorgeous children who will only get prettier and more handsome. And I love the Asian-American influence because I’m so tired of OTHER MINORITIES getting it all. Oh, by the way, I’m not Asian, I’m Irish.

Jon & Kate Fan – Please spare me the “you are just jealous crap.” I do not want 8 kids … and I do not want my life taped for tv. I have my own wonderful husband and stepkids. Please don’t assume I’m jealous because I put my thoughts and research about Kate into words. I have watched the show since the damn beginning. I LOVE the kids. They are cute, and I enjoy watching them grow as well. However, I feel YOU are OFFENSIVE for calling the other family shows weird, and refering to them as not real. Everyone is the US can have their own religions, their own names, wear their own clothes, and can grow their hair as long as they want. Sounds like YOU are a religious bigot to me. And to be honest, those mothers on those shows seem way more relaxed and laid back than Kate, and they have more work than her, since she has an army of helpers that are often featured on the show.
As for Jon and Kate, get real. How the hell can Jon afford child support for 10 kids? Do you know any men who are divorced and have 10 kids? The answer is no, as there is no way they could afford it. Kate is mean, and yells at the kids and Jon often. I’m not saying yelling isn’t something any mom doesn’t do, but it seems to me that all she does is try to control everything. Even Mady said on last nights repeat episode “Game Day” that her mom sat in the garage like a queen in her chair and yelled for her dad to do everything. She is 7 and knows the score.

First off, my parents raised 13 of us ALL ON THEIR OWN, with no handouts and they faired well, no one has been in prison and most of us are all married with our own families now, the ones left at home are all in college, so she needs to get off the pitty train and get a life. If you do I guess you and your husband make enough money to support them, dress them, have the best insurance to bring them to doctors and dentists when needed and also educate them all at the same time. I bet you are able to go out to work everyday and have responsible people caring for 8 kids.
I guess you never had a bad day, the kind where nothing goes right and just when you think your husband is going to be around to help out he hits you with I’m going golfing with the guys. I guess you were never sitting around with a bunch of friends when your husband starts bragging about all he does to help around the house, making it sound like you do nothing but sit around and eat bon bon and at that point you’ve never given him a love tap. You people make it sound like Kate is beating him with pots and pans.
I guess you have never gotten frazzled because your kids never fought over a toy, a movie or just over nothing. I guess your kids never cried just because they felt like it. I guess when you all have your time of the month you don’t get PMS.

I have been in homes where people have 2 kids and the house looks not only like a bomb when off in it but also not clean.
I have seen families with 2-3 kids and the kids always look like they need a bath and never have a clean nose.
I have been in homes where people have 2 kids and they are bouncing off walls.
I have been at schools when kids that come from a 2-3 kid family home recieve a note to take home to their parents because they have not properly received all the necessary shots required, or sent home due to lice.
These kids are spotless, they are smart, they are well – well feed, they are spiratually guided, well rounded and most of all loved. This you could see in their actions. Mady I think is a little testy at times but I thinks it is because she needs a little more attention than the others and they are soooo aware of it.
If this is how they choose to live their lives and raise their children I personally think it is not the business of anyone. No one knows your finances so why should anyone question theirs. If this is her way of giving her children the world who is anyone question it. Those kids are getting an opportunities they could not even imagine if it were not for the show and I for one wish them all the best.
I had 2 children, young adults now and there were day I thought I was going to loose my mind, I cannot even think of what it would be like to raise 8. My husband worked 2 jobs and I worked part time to make ends meat, we were like ships passing in the wind so there would be one parent home at all times when necessary. I worked 4-midnight and I missed a lot, putting my children down at night, reading the bedtime story, kissing them good night. It’s not easy to be a good parent, to give your children better that what you had growing up. I would not change my life for the world. There were times my husband only gave them the antibiotic and forgot the cough medicine, or put the diaper on 1/2 a## backwards. There were days that I went on 3-4 hours of sleep, especially on nights that they were sick, and while I was up with them my husband slept. So yes there were time I went off yelling too, that doesn’t make you a bad person it make you a normal, tired, trying to be the best wife & mother that you can be.
Today I have 2 wonderful young adult children, both in college and doing well. It was our life and we did was what best for our family and so should they.
So my final words to all of you, like Jesus said, “Those of you without sin cast the first stone”. So I see from the posts there are alot of perfect people on this blog.

When Pharm Reps go into a doctors office it is like Santa Claus coming all year long for the doctors. In order for the doctor and his office to peddle
their company’s product they wine and dine them. FREE lunch delivered to the office several times a week for the doctor and staff. FREE gifts, pens, paper tablets, coffee mugs, key chains, (small stuff that adds up at the pharmacy counter). If the doctor says “hey can you get me tickets for the Philly’s game and buy the way how about sending us in a limo, it happens.
Concert tickets, broadway tickets, pro Football tickets, whatever. Pharmacy reps go on conventions once – twice a year and win BIG PRIZES like FREE trips to Hawaii, Italy or where ever for them and their family, cash prizes in the thousands, weekend getaways to golf resorts where the wives spend the day at the spa’s and get pampered.
They are awarded for jobs well done. The more they peddle the more they win.
All this and you pay for it at the pharmacy counter…
This is where FREE stuff is hurting my pocket and I don’t approve, but guess what? The doctors are in total control, they won’t even let them in the door unless they have something good to offer them.
I don’t begrudge a family of 10 FREE anything especially when Jon and Kate took on in life what God asked of them. God does not ask the doctors to shaft us to make their lives entertaining.

Getto, I don’t care what she has chosen to take or not to take. That is HER BUSINESS!
I have 2 friends that have gone through in-vitro and came away with only one child, those are the risks involved. Both my friends wanted children and to be a mom more than anything and took that risk, again HER BUSINESS!
Wanting to be a mother and doing whatever is necessary is not RECKLESS, it is sad that you feel that way, I wonder if your mother felt that way when you were concieved.
Also using her hard earned college degree again HER BUSINESS!! It is not going to waste, it is a degree no one will ever take away from her and she is using it every day as a mother. There were times when my kids were small that I wish I had a medical background. She can always go back to work someday if she chooses to do so. She is not the only woman to get her MRS or MOM degree..
I’m sure she was given a choice when the doctors told her there were 6 (actually 7 but one did not develope) sacks to reduce the number but let see, which one should she have chosen. The cute one with the glasses, or maybe Hannah the one with the long hair. I applaud her for going through that and giving these children LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just read this regarding the Duggers.. What are you all missing here?
Do they not have a camera crew in their home possible lending a helping hand?
She also has older children/young adult children that HELP with the babies she keeps having. In all reality she has more help than Kate living right in her own home.
Those kids cook, clean, do laundry, they pack for vacation, and whatever else she needs done.
Didn’t they just build a gigantic home? Oh that’s right, Jim Bob built it with the help of all the kids, all by themselves, 6 year olds included. But they had help from professionals when needed.
Do they not get paid for their show?
Who paid for their trip to NY City, all 19 of them?
Who paid for the bus they drive on the trips they have taken?
And the answer is “THE SHOW”..
I’m sure they would travel more if the doctors would allow it however when pregnant all the time that travel is not always recommended.
Oh, I know they have properties they rent out for extra income but I bet a family of 19 won’t survive on that alone. I bet they could not afford to build that home without the money from the show.
I believe their show is more upscaled than it has been the past years, after all they even changed their name to 17 and counting.
The Rolloffs, I love that show too, nobody works harder than Matt, lets face it.
But is he not adding on a large addition to his home, just put in an in the ground pool. All of these people would not be doing it if the money was not there and if they did not feel it was making their life better.

Matt Roloff super software salesman as he describes himself was fired from his job for being the worst salesman with the company. His theme park was built by other people he gave the orders or so we are lead to believe. Matt Roloff is not the genius that he is Portrayed on LPBW he needs his reports and newsletters edited before being published. Yes and what you see on TV is only a very small percentage of their lives. The laziest person in the world could be made look like a workaholic on a TV program. His family pitch in helping remodelling the house but they can’t pick up their clothes and rubbish after them. I see them as lazy as I know that they only use the hammer for 2 minutes for the camera then they let the contractors do the rest.

Well, I don’t watch Little People, Big World enough to know all the details. I agree w/Plus 8 Fan (Strange, right? ) that he does seem like a ball of energy and he always has plans, etc. I’m sure no one is ever portrayed correctly 100% on tv. But I like the show and the family. I think its great those kids build stuff and help run the farm.

Not true Gettogirl those kids are lazy. They sleep late in the mornings missing school. The twins are very immature for their age (18). The farm only has 6 acres of pumpkins and they use extra acres for rotating pumpkins as they cannot be grown in the same ground for 2 years the rest of the land is taken up with silly projects and roads. The biggest workload is pumpkin season which lasts 1 month and they hire plenty cheap help so what work do the Roloff kids do other than help during the pumpkin season? which more than 1 of them complained about for 07 season. The majority of 18 year olds have jobs or part time jobs nowadays. If the Roloffs lived on a dairy farm they would know what work is. The farm is only 34 acres for God’s sake not 334 acres.

I saw an episode of the Roloffs last night where Amy was getting a personal organiser in to help out. Amy said she was busy getting ready for the organiser and things were hetic. Who the hell do they think watches their show people are not stupid. She was getting the organiser because she was too damn lazy to do it herself and her lazy kids they always look half asleep. The Roloffs remind me of employees who always try to make themselves look busy by moving around a lot but don’t actually don’t any work. Bottom line is that the Roloffs are lazy but try to make themselves look like a busy family on tv.

If you CHOOSE unnatural fertility treatment and you CHOOSE to go to term with a litter of children inside you, and then you also CHOOSE to raise all of them, you shouldn’t expect handouts to make ends meet.
She chose this life for herself and her family. Plenty of people choose to be responsible and only raise the number of children they can afford to care for (although, plenty also do not). She should set an example for her children and act more like the Duggars.
We shouldn’t feel sorry for her because she chose an unnatural pregnancy with foreseeable side effects that came to fruition. This was not an accident, this was a choice. If I choose to buy six new cars when I’m already paying for two, and I can’t afford to make my payments on all eight cars, I don’t get a handout from the government, no, the cars get repossessed. These kids should be so lucky.

I thought to research about a family I don’t know because, simply, everywhere I look, they are there. Kate and Jon are putting themselves out there, so if you can’t take the heat, think of why your people are putting their kids in the fire!

I think their surname suits them well (Gosselin) and Kate is the biggest goose of them all. They should call it Kate +9 because she treats her husband like one of her children. She wants him to take charge more often and when he tries to take charge she tells him to shut up. She reminds me of a spoilt child that always wants her way her parents never disciplined her or put manners on her as a child.

Oh my god, you people are SO awful and hateful! Such judgement… Do you believe everything you read on the internet? Do you really know what occurred between family members to cause an estrangment? Everything you’re quoting and citing is 3rd hand knowledge.
You don’t really know what goes on in the families of people on reality TV. After all these years and the hundreds of reality shows out there, it’s pretty clear that they’re partially scripted and that people are on them for monetary gain. And why not? I think people should stop judging these reality show families and just turn their TVs off, if they’re so offended and outraged by what they see. There are true problems in the world and getting so angry about what other people do with their lives is absurd.
If years from now, Jon & Kate’s kids, the Duggar kids, and the Roloff kids are all screwed up from their upbringing on TV, well then their parents will deal with the consequences, just like everyone else had with their specific childhood issues. They’re providing for their families in a unique way and benefitting greatly from their specific lifestyle choices. More power to them.
If you’re jealous and bitter because no one is giving your kids free clothes from the Gap and giving you a free vacation, call TLC and let them know you’re available…

I know that every reality show is edited but there is no way they can edit every program making Kate look like the bitch that she is. As for the comment about turning off the tv, if you don’t like negative comments about the program then why did you click this link? Rather Kate Gosselin is a bitch or not is irrelevant. The facts we know may or may not be reality. I agree with most, how could she deny handouts from her fathers church. My congregation would excommunicate me, how could she show her face there if thats what she did. I honestly think that people get lost in how Kate treats her husband or how bitchy she is. The problems are with the children or what will become of her children. If she turns down handouts because they don’t match what does that teach her children. The problem with the show is in how its going to effect the children. Maybe they will be screwed up, but maybe they won’t. All you can do is cross your fingers and hope that they allow their own judgement to tell them when enough is enough. I know I personally would not allow a camera crew in my house no matter how much the monetary contribution. I’m sure other mothers feel the same way. I couldn’t make sure my house was perfect and everyones clothes matched when my kids have the flu. They’re gonna puke lets not put it on TV. Some things should remain behind closed doors. Why “air all your bad laundry” on TV. Bottom line is people took an interest in these families we watched them, they’ve become addictive. We all want to know what is going to happen for our own reasons. I’m no better than the rest of you I have JK+8 and the Duggars on my TIVO. Yes I can say that I think the Duggars are going about things a little bit better. They are still raising their children with their morals and beliefs in mind and are not straying from them as a I think Kate has. I guess it all went to her head. I personally like the Duggars more because their message to the public isn’t about what vacation they took this week and how many organic meals they had. They did the TODAY show not OPRAH and MARTHA!! Ofcourse Michelle Duggar has more helpers how many of you were allowed to lay on the chouch and watch TV for 18 years while your mom washed all your clothes, cooked, and kept up with your homeschooling while pregnant or nursing pretty much your entire life. Come on people they make their own laundry soap. They obviously aren’t in this to build the biggest house free thanks to TLC or go on the coolest trips to spas and HAWAII!!

I watched the show last night. The whole show was about the kids making their no2 and the camera zooming in on it. Jon said that one of the kids got so excited about going on a trip that she swallowed some saliva and threw up then the camera had to zoom in on it. Now for all the people on here whining about people printing negative comments about the show and saying that people don’t know Jon & Kate and that the show is edited. Do you honestly think that the clips about the kids and their bodily deposits is edited? Jon & Kate know full well that these clips will be shown yet they allow it. What a crap show if it isn’t showing the kids crapping it shows Kate crapping out her mouth. Now I don’t know about the rest of you but I could do without knowing when they puke and shit and what it looks like.

The show was fantastic when they were smaller, it was amazing to see Kate come down the stairs with six babies who crawled down backwards; etc, but now …. when Colin had that reed in Hawaii and he was telling Jon and the other boys it was his “Boom” as in microphone, I felt really sorry for them. I just don’t know how long these kids should live under the microscope. and when Kate puts down Maddie and Alexis about the boat trip I felt so bad, as someday they are going to watch that and feel bad about what their mommy said about them. Even if its true, it would hurt my feelings.

I watched the show a couple times on a whim, thought Jon and Kate’s summary banter was amusing and the kids were adorable, but I had that same feeling. NO I am not KATE!!!! I am a mother of 2 who likes the show. For those who do not like the show, like other people have written, don’t watch it. I don’t like the Dugger and I only watch it when there is nothing better on and guess what? My not watching did not hurt the show in any way. You people amaze me, you complain about Kate having 6 babies at one time, SHAME on her.. But Michele is nothing but a baby factory and that is OK with some of you. Oh and LISA incase you haven’t noticed, the Duggers don’t have to build a new house, they already did. Equipt with 100 bathrooms, industrial sinks, stanless countertops and many front load washers and dryers. I just bought a set and they go for $800 each. What does Jim Bob do for a living? Like I said I am not a fan but when I have watched I never heard them say anything about him working. I know they own other properties that they rent out so how do you think they could afford to buy other properties and build a HUGE house without royalties from the show. I have read many of you complain about Kate being a bitch and selling things that have been donated. No one will ever write that she donates the money to charity for children with cancer. I have a friend with a child with leukemia and I would much rather see her laugh when taking a picture of her kis poop, pee, vomit or anything else that would make her laugh instead of her watching a IV with chemo going into her child. Life is too short, stop complaining when you have nothing to complain about. Kates kids are happy, healthy, clean and well nourished and to me that is all that matters.

I would not say that is “happy.” I have read on the Gosselin’s website that they donate to charity, but I have never seen anything profiled on the show. However, I see Little People, Big World run charities and I have seen Matt in Iraq. All I ever see from Kate is her running from show to show saying her life is hard. Now that J & K are supposed millionaires, they should stop taking offerings, charging for autographs, and start doing something more charitable that people can SEE on tv. Yes, I do agree Maddy is not always a happy camper but coming from a large family myself I know that now all kids are model children. I have a nephew that is 20 and still walks around with a puss on all the time. However the other 7 are not cry babies like Maddy. I also agree (Ha Ha) that they should show more of Kate donating the checks personally, they only showed her once writing a check to a charity, I cannot remember what it was at the moment but she did. Kate is a control freak by nature and a take charge person, that may never change but if she really donates all this money to children with cancer I think that would make her a bigger person on the inside, that’s what really counts.

Kate has made this show all about her. 1 episode that broke my heart was when they were @ the beach &the girls were making July 4th cake-eating berries &Joel walked in &asked if he could have some &Kate got hateful &told him no &told him 2 leave. Plus she says the boys r stinky&nasty&dirty but her girls r perfect. And what about when all 8 had a day out w/ K&J. K&J went on all the girls days but when it came 2 the boys, Kate didnt go-only Jon. How sad 4 those boys. J does most of the work-baths-dressing them-making beds-playtime. I felt that Kate didn’t WANT to go with the boys on their trips. I don’t understand why she’d do that, except maybe she had appearances in New York, as she recently made a mention of coming there often. Its a shame she clearly favors her daughters. Those boys are adorable.

What christian mother lies 2 her children 2 get them 2 calm down or has her 2 older daughters lying 2 back her up? Kate has been caught many x’s doing that just 4 the sake of her sanity. ITS JUST PLAIN WRONG! The R’s do have jobs,little help from TLC & have charities-good folk. The D’s-a little strange but they practice what they preach, they do work, have 3 businesses 2 help with bills, make clothes & do each other hair. The other AA sept’s r down 2 earth good people who work & 1 of the 6 is Autistic. They dont get freebies. Anyway..I agree with all that you’ve posted on here and other boards. I’ve said it before, what’s going to happen when TLC cancel’s this show? It’s going to happen. It’s going to happen regardless of who like’s or dislike’s this show and this family. I have read ( a fact..for all of you Kate fan’s) that the Gosselin’s moved to a new million dollar home in Wernersville Pa. Now..I know they receive alot of $ an episode. But..10 plus years from now..when the show is long over and everyone has forgotten about poor Kate and her kids..can they afford to continue this lavish lifestyle without the show? I thought Kate was a dyalysis nurse…and Jon and IT Tech. Well, how hard will it be for them to get jobs 1) after being out of the workforce so long. 2) they’ve both burned so many bridge’s..who’d give them a job?
I agree with many that Kate knew what she was doing before she even had those 6 kids at once. She was onto something in the beginning. Which was smart, I guess. But..look what it’s done to the family. The kids have no one. Kate doesn’t seem to have friends. Neither does Jon. I’m also feeling that the chldren will have alot of trouble getting friends b/c most of the parents and kids out there won’t want anything to do with any of the Gosselin’s b/c of the way they act. And..if they act like that on TV..then I can’t imagine what they’re like off TV. I’ve read posts from people who have actually met them..and I’ve never seen a good post. NOT ONCE.
Again..I watch it when I’m in the mood. I haven’t seen many of the new episode’s as I, a parent and wife, do not allow my 10 and 4 year old kids to view this family b/c of the way they treat one another. Esp. Kate towards Jon. I also don’t like the way Kate does things..like laying a sick kid on a laundry floor. I’ve been a paramedic for 10 plus years now and I know that if we viewed a sick kid on a laundry room floor..we’d probably mention it to the cops..and who knows what would happen from there. Showing fece’s on TV is unacceptable! NO ONE should ever show that. That’s gross. I, as a professional, see many area’s of the show where I feel if Kate is not careful, that a CPS worker from Pa could get pissed off, not think it’s funny or cute, and make a phone call or two. I’ve seen it happen to family’s before. Grow up Kate..Get some parental help before your fantasy land become’s a nightmare.

I would hate to know that I took all my childrens innocent years away to gain a mansion on a hill. Material things shouldnt matter. OMG. Kate is such a total bitty. She thinks she is so damn cute. How can anyone like someone who doesn’t let her kids see their relatives? Ever notice how unhappy jon and the twins look, especially that nut case Mady? She needs help Kate. Get the girl to s shrink before it’s too late. Sure you like the free stuff, but your kids are suffering because of your selfish needs. By the way where are her parents. How could grandparents not see those children. Mb – Jon and the twins do look unhappy often. Last night I caught a few minutes of a repeat episode, the one where they went back to the hospital the kids were born at. I was watching the commercial for J & K. And I saw something that I couldn’t figure it, something that looked weird. Then I figured it out : Kate was pushing one of the boys on the swing, and I realized that she never
1. Plays with the kids, and this looked instantly unnatural to me.
2. Does physical labor. I know she does laundry after “Gum-Gate” and that she reorganizes closets, but you never really see her do anything physical w/the children. Thus, her pushing a kid on the swing looked odd as hell.

I was just watching the ep where they hire a nanny named Sarah – what happened to her? the one they have now is Jenny, right?
this ep was just this past January, but the differences were stunning. Kate played with the kids (or at least sat and watched them play – in the driveway), Jon had to “come home from work” – implying he had a job.
actually it may have been two episodes.
anyway – yes, this year is all product placement and jetsetting and “giving back” – most likely with someone else’s money. All I’m sure Kate did was wrap the presents, and even then she complained about how she had to do it all herself (as she’s such a perfectionist that even Cara and Mady’s attempts were berated by her)
Perhaps this is a good sign. Like a game show that resorts to all “special editions” (like celebrity Weakest Link) is headed for cancellation. I had more fun watching Jon build bunk beds. Well, I would have, but Kate was bitching at him half the time.
My stance is – perhaps some good can come of it: when the kids are neurotic teenagers due to mommy’s perfectionism, at least every therapist in the country will know the cause without even having to ask the kid in question, and can get right to the therapy part (no, Mady, you don’t have to be perfect. Life doesn’t have to be this hard. Someone put fake view of the world into your head. It’s not really like that.) though the deprogramming might take some time.
Hopefully it will be complete before these kids reproduce and create other messed up kids (come on – how can you not be messed up with Kate as a mother?) That would be good.
In the meantime, I think Jon & Kate need another trip to Dr Phil. Not to be given more physical things, but to fix whatever is annoying Kate so much that she has to tell America about it rather than telling Jon when they are alone. (he’s usually the target of whatever it is. did she try talking to him? or is it just that he’s not going to change because he’s right, and it pisses her off so much that she has to tell the entire viewing audience about it?)
I’ve been in both of this issues before (perfectionistic parent syndrome and telling other people your marital problems cause of not being able to talk to your spouse) and I can see it.
Or as my mother used to say to my father – “once these kids leave home, they aren’t going to come back and see *you.*”
She wasn’t wrong. He finally had to beg me to at least come see *her.* (and then he screamed at me the whole time I was there… here… whatever (I moved here after he died.))

The last esp. i watched Jon was taking care of the kids for 3 days because Kate was “WORKING” at a “BUSINESS MEETING” promoting brown bagging (or was it how to get as many free handouts and vacations as possilble????? or was she at a spa getting free treatments??? I think she spends more time in spas then a movie star does) Ooo but Kate does think she is a star and is entitled to a life of luxury!!!!!!!

Pamela – Whew, you had a lot to say. I’m glad you had a place to say it. Today I visited some links to my website from J & K fans, and it was VERY interesting to read their point of view on what we say on here. LOL!
Franny – I thought it was funny how Kate and Beth went to the spa in the Utah episode and it showed the, laughing and having fun, but just minutes before Kate was laying on the couch, sick, and couldn’t help get the kids dressed. Hmmm…. quick recovery time.
Now, I know Kate she is an indoor girl, and I think its ok for her to go to the spa. I love a massage as much as anyone, but then again, I have 7 herniated disks in my spine and I need a massage. But if I have 8 kids, I’m at least helping put on boots before I walk down to get a treatment.

Hello All – Happy New Year! It’s been a while since I’ve been on this site..just been so busy with the holidays. Im glad to be back and glad to be able to vent about this damm show..lol.
I’ve read up on alot of the recent posts ( and other site’s as well) and it seems to me that more and more people ( some who used to be fans of this show) are now saying that they cannot stand this show and what it stands for.
I’m a tad confused b/c some say they are moving to No. Carolina and some say to another part of PA…can anyone say which one it is?
I still stick with my gut and say this show is awful. I cannot stand Kate..mostly b/c of her LACK of parenting skills and the way she speaks and acts to her husband. Does anyone think that someone at TLC has said anything to Kate about her behavior? Does TLC look at how everyone is posting to get rid of this bitch and her circus freaks? Anyone who puts a sick child on a laundry room floor is NOT a great parent. And..potty time is for private member’s of the family…not all of the world. Oh..and slapping your husband? That’s how a good “Christian” acts! That’s what the Bible says Kate…slap your man!!! LOL…She’s so far from a Christian it’s not even funny. Her day is coming. What goes around..come’s around. I wouldn’t give that family a penny. What’s she gonna do when the show is canceled? What’s her next way of providing for her family? She is burning many bridge’s.It’ll be over. Then..I think she’s gonna flip out. I really do. She’s accustomed to this lifestyle now. It’s gonna hurt that family bad when it’s all over and they have NO ONE to turn to b/c they wrote everyone they ever knew off their list. Family, friends, helper’s, everyone they know. Soon..it’ll be those poor kids who start leaving the nest and will write Jon and Kate off for all the pain they caused. I mean..what’s it like for Maddy and Cara to go to school and have so many of the kids and parents hate them, the show and mostly Jon and Kate? I would NEVER allow my daughter to play with those kids. Because I cannot imagine what Kate would say or do. That’s how mean I think she is.
I also say that once this show is done..and it will be..the Gosselins will be bankrupt. I give it 6 years..and the million dollar house will be gone. The vacations..all of it. Jon will have to work again..boo hoo. And..god forbid they have to make ends meet like the rest of us! The entire subject is sad. I could go on and on…lol.
Lastly..I feel bad saying this..I can’t stand Maddy. I know she’s a young girl and all..but someone needs to tell this child to act like a normal little child and not a BRAT. It amazes me how any producer thinks this show is getting “better”. Because last I checked..most people can’t stand it. And..many like me say they wont allow their children to watch either. I won’t. Why would I want to subject my 4 and 10 year old to a woman and a man who act this way? It’s supopsed to be a family show.

first off kate is a huge bitch.. my grandmother worked with her at the reading hospital and kate used to tell her how to do her job when she’s been a nurse for fourty effing years… it has also been said that maybe it’s not as bad as it seems between jon and kate… i worked at austin’s restaurant right next to their church, glad tidings, in west lawn and waited on them twice… kate treats jon exactly the same way when the cameras arent around than when they are around… kate preaches that she is a christian and not once while i served her did she say thank you…. oh and as for all that money your rollin in.. thanks for the 8% tip…
as for jon, he seems like a nice guy.. i recently saw him at my new job at GNA pizzeria and said hello and her was very nice and acted like he knew me.. however… he only got one pizza to go… i doubt one pizza can feed a family of ten.. maybe him and kate are spending some time apart haha
the episode where they go back to wyomissing for the annual 4th of july parade (such a wonderful event)… i was there and watched it all in person… those poor children on that rope all of them screaming and crying.. jon was right, they should have taken the stroller that day…. kate wouldn’t even let her kids keep the friggen candy they picked up… she gave it to a family sitting up the street from them.. talk about takin candy from a baby.. horrible
poor aunt jody… she recently left the show because kate wouldn’t allow TLC to pay aunt jody for use of her home and appearances on the show.. i guess she thinks beth carson is a better person for her children to stay with… ps. i played softball with one of beth’s daughter’s who i know for a fact is addicted to aderol… niceeee… im glad kate lets her children in that house… but they will probably all end up on drugs anyways after being so traumatized as children…
jon and kate recently moved to wernersville, halfway between eliozabethtown where they used to live and wyomissing, their first neighborhood… they live on a twenty something acre estate that cost 1.35 million dollars but they didnt actually pay the full price for it… they got it through a foreclosure because the property was the site of a high drug bust…( see the reading eagle newspaper)… also the “estate” is two miles from werenersville state hospital, a mental institution… i hope they have reallyyy good security on their grounds… i wouldnt want any of their kids to run into any crazies that escaped the hospital… it seems like such a safe area… right… nothign against werenersville its a quaint little town… but i wouldnt live that close to the hospital, just saying…
they shoudl count their blessings that they are now financially blessed since they used to have people go from house to house begging for money

I was catching up on your blog today…OMG..people really get pissed when “we” don’t agree that the Gosselins are the “family of the year”. Oh well.
I was reading an article on another site and saw someone wrote an interesting comment on the Gosselins. It said ” The Gosselins aren’t a family..they are a business.” I thought that was perfect!
Here in NJ..we have Direct TV. So..I record some of the episode’s when Im either in the field or just cant watch. And..I just watched the new Questions and Answers episode. Anyone else notice Kate is unusually tan? I think it looks nasty on her! Between that and her “peacock” haircut..lol.
Reading Girl…yes thank you for sharing. Very interseting. My brother also lives in Lancaster Pa. Most people that he has come in contact with that personally know Jon or Kate..say the same thing. That they both are fake. That Kate is a phony Christian. That most don’t want her and her kids around. I don’t blame them. They come to a store, an event, etc. and act like freaks. I would hate it too. I could never imagine living next door to them. Never.
Like I’ve said before…this show will end one day. Every show does. Then..reality for Jon and Kate will set in. Especially when we’re all onto another family. From what I’ve been reading..many of the fans are now saying it’s becoming boring. That many believe Kate is nothing but a phony. And..most can’t relate to her or the family.
I also must say something else..I don’t believe for one minute that Kate has PCOS. I think she’s BS’ing on that. She doesn’t exhibate any PCOS symptoms. Anyone can have cysts on the ovaries without having PCOS. Anyone can also have fertility treatments w/o having PCOS as a diagnosis. And..I for one..don’t think she has PCOS. I also have an episode taped where Kate stated she was a P/T Dialysis nurse at Hershey Medical. I thought she was a L&D nurse. So..once again Kate..you make no sense. Maybe Kate should watch some of the episode’s so she can keep up on her own BS. Because..I for one..think she’s a F/T liar.
Oh and Girl…Im gonna check out Facebook today..lol. Can’t wait!
And I know where Wernersville is..I think I come through that area when I’m coing back to NJ from Pa..if I take 202 to Route 78?? I know I come through Elizabethtown. I saw an episode last night where Jon was standing at the back of his van; he had one of the kids lying down on the floor of the van. Apparently the kid was trying to make his no 2 and Jon was helping him by pulling it as the kid was pushing. Now I don’t know what the hell that was all about but did they have to show it on the program? I never heard of any parent doing anything like that before.

Jon and Kate are definitely not perfect parents but they do love their kids. After the birth of the six, Jon lost his job. When the tv show was offered to them, would you really have turned them down. The kids don’ t seem traumatized in any way, and when Mady and Cara don’t want to be filmed, they aren’t. Kate made that very clear. When the younger ones make that choice, the show will be over. The kids will have college funds and they will be old enough for the parents to safely get jobs. The Gosselins didn’t go running after this show, they came to them. The free trips and products are placed by the production company. I don’t know any young couple under these circumstances who would not have taken advantage of such incredible good luck. If the kids are embarrassed when they are older by baby episodes, at least they’ll be able to afford therapy, but hopefully their teenage friends will be too cool to be watching reruns on the discovery channel assuming that theyre even still on. Is Kate perfect? absolutely not. With eight kids I am quite sure I would be a little irritable too.

Oh my WORD! Looks like some folks need some educating on the ways and means of Jon & Kate Gosselin. As always a good starting point would be doing some research with their hometown paper the Reading Eagle. Locals-who’ve dealt directly with ‘Jane & Kate’ will fill you in on their behaviour. There is just so, so, so much info out there-and A LOT of it is NOT casting the Kons in a favorable light. I am so fucking tired of people using the ‘you’d do the same thing to you if offered’. No asshole! I wouldn’t! I value MY PRIVACY and MY FAMILY’S PRIVACY far more than $$. PERIOD. I seriously doubt the way Kon’s blowing through the money that they’ll have much left for their kids once this show is over. And that may be sooner than expected with that stupid Octopussy bringing her story into motion. Her timing was absolutely impeccable, birth her cash cows the same day the Kons unveil the Pimp Palace. Most of my friends now refuse to let their children watch Jon & Kate’s TV show, because they show their children that its OK to disrespect each other.
They may not even realize it but this is what is happening in their home and I like my girlfriends don’t want my children to believe that this acceptable behavior to ones spouse or anyone.

You know I had noticed that Aunt Jody was missing from this season and wondered why. Well, now I know!! I just read the article that Aunt Jody’s sister posted and I saw the video of Jody talking about the article and that it was true. Also I read the article on why Kate is estranged from her parents and it really has made think think differently about her. I know there are two sides to every story but I now see Kate Gosselin as not a very nice person. I feel sorry for her (I need a backbone husband) and her eight children one of whom needs some counselling for anger issues (Madelyn).

Teb37ny – I just watched a few episodes on the KON marathon today on TLC. Back in the old days, all you saw was the friends like Beth and Jodi, Kevin and kids. It must be sad to lose your brother and best friends.

Coastalmom maybe it’s because there are no other suitable words to describe Kate and her ballsless husband Jon. Saying Kate is not nice doesn’t have the same ring or effect as saying Kate is a bitch.
