Hi everyone! I haven’t posted all week, which is crazy for me! I’m a blogaholic, so, I hope you forgive me and still love me. I just have been so busy!
I have like 3,000 things to say, but here are a few in random order:
- Kwame Kilpatrick, convicted Felon, is no longer the mayor of Detroit. Praise the lord!
- I am in love with mypoints.com. Dube (In my blogroll) did a post about the site. I earn free crap for clicking open emails … perfect 3rd job for me. Earned #1355 points in like 2 weeks … do it, trust me.
- I am also in love with my new 2009 Entertainment Book. haven’t had one since like 1992. They even have coupons for The Melting Pot in there. Best damn $20 I spent in my life. I’m starving thinking about all those food coupons …
- Also in love with my first early Christmas gift I bought of the season. Beatles Monopoly. Seriously, it looks like the coolest thing ever. Check it out @ thefestforbeatlesfans.com. $40 is steep, but hell, its THE BEATLES!!!! I can not wait to play with my Walrus piece! Its just charming as hell!
- Got a nice red dress for a wedding my husband IS FORCING me to go to. Seriously, I hate only one of his friends and of couse its his wedding we get invited to. Having a huge wedding, and its his 2nd. At least I’m getting Filet Mignon there. But looking for flat comfy shoes with a fancy evening gown is impossible. I put on 2 inch heels and about puked from pain in the store. How am I gonna survive a night w/out leg braces and wearing heels. Even worse … I don’t think I can even dance anymore. My old passion … used to SHAKE MY ASS BACK IN THE DAY …. So sad, stupid 12 diseases!!!!
- 90210 has lost the bloom for me … so what if Dillion is the father of Kellie’s boy. I do not want to see him looking 50 on this show!
- Did a show tonight as a favor for someone else, and low and behold, it was an old boss of mine from 22 YEARS AGO – from my recreation job in the 80s and 90s. So nice to see an old friend who is still nice …. my first good show since April, thank god!
- Today was the first paycheck I received in 3 months with my full 80 hours of pay. I’m on intermittant FMLA due to my 3,000 illnesses, and recently I’ve had to take days w/o pay, etc. Shoot, next Tuesday I have 3 appointments alone, one at lunch, one at night, but still. I’m so sick of not taking vacation days as vacation!!!
- I’m thinking about switching Grad Schools, going to Wayne State, and going toward my Masters in Librarian Science. Seriously, my BFF from College, my friend who is a professor suggests this is the perfect career for me and she is so right. Money is the concern, time, health, everything. I would love to do it … maybe it’ll work out. Going to an info night next Wednesday night.
- Lastly, going to a Fibromyalgia workshop next Wednesday afternoon @ U-M Hospital with one of America’s leading expert on the disease. I hope he can help me cope, I’m just fucking miserable with this disease. Can’t explain the weird ass symptoms, pains, mental fogginess/craziness, etc., etc. I’ll let you guys know how it turns out!

I wore these as a bridesmaid once. High heels were not an option. Which was hard, since it was such a dressy occassion. But the oufit came together nicely. Strapless black dress with these shoes. The fabric from the dress and shoes looked very similar. So, it worked.

I had to giggle a tiny bit when I read that you got the Beetles Monopoly.. wanna know why? Because I actually own “Ghettopoly” and it has a crack pipe as a playing piece- I forgot I had that until I read about your new game, because of your blog name! Yes, I seriously own it. I heard about the game, knew I HAD to have it, but they had been pulled off the store shelves (*for one tiny little crack pipe, jeez!) LOL! so I bought it on Ebay – met some guy in a shady parking lot to get it too LOL!!!!
Good luck at the fibromyalgia workshop- I hope this specialist can shed some light on it for you!

I think filet mignon would make any wedding perfect. I avoid weddings at all costs, but I might actually make an appearance at one if I was offered free filet mignon.
