Miley Ray Cyrus … she’s 15 and partially naked on a cover of a magazine. WTF?
Miley, or MRC as I like to call her, is everywhere these days … award shows, tabloid news, concert stadiums, even still on Hanna Montanna on Nickelodeon. Is she really on her way to becoming the next Britney Spears?
Take a look at Britney back in the day .. on the cusp of womanhood? It’s the beginning of the end for Miley, I’m afraid.
They are both southern girls, both dancers, actresses, and singers. Their families love the limelight. They both were on kid shows, then moved on to movies.
Flash forward 10 years from now and I’m worried what will happen to this girl. America, let’s save her!
This is different. Miley portrays a mostly good girl image and Britney was never guided in that particular direction. This portrait boasts a profound sociological commentary which is sadly being overlooked by most of the North American public… It might just be the saving grace in Miley life.

I don’t know? Britney pushed the idea that she was a virgin to keep an image. I know Miley’s parents are very religous and have to wonder why they consented to this picture. Was it really necessary for her to pose this way at such a young age?
She looks like she was just rolled. If nothing, I believe the outcry has woke Pappa Cyrus up.

I disagree. I think Papa Cyrus is lovin’ the second chance that he is getting to be in the public eye. And, that’s sad. I was a BRC fan even after country music turned their collective backs on him. But, this has turned me off completely. The half nude pic doesn’t bother me as much as the pic of BRC and MRC looking lie a prostitot and her sugar daddy. That pic really disturbs me.

let’s hope the negative publicity from this was a wake up to teen Miley and her parents. It would be sad to see another teen star turn into a Britney… though I am sure very few people will be surprised if that is indeed what happens.

I think Miley Ray Cyrus is not a role model for girls of any age and shouldn’t be. I guess this day and age, it’s no big deal that a young girl expose their midriffs or wear racy clothes of any kind because it’s what the stars are doing and this means young girls everywhere can do the same. How is it so easily overlooked? I don’t quite understand that part of this situation. If we do have another Britney on our hands, what do we have to look up to the next time? It’s completely false that she is just oh so wholesome and innocent. Why wouldn’t she have consequence for her actions just because she’s a celebrity?

2. Hannah Montana is on Disney Channel not Nickelodeon.
3. Tons of girls these days do stupid stuff like that and she regrets doing that photo shoot so you cant really blame her, plus it probably wasn’t her idea.
