The truth… Ok I never write blogs because I like for you guys to enjoy the show and believe in the experience. However, I need to set the record straight because all of you know that I’m an HONEST, down-to-earth person. So, when I’m portrayed as a liar I just can’t let people believe that. I never lied to Bret about my age. If you look at the playback with our date with Sateesh, you will see that I never tell Bret my age. My voice is dubbed over. If I HAD ever discussed my age with Bret, I assure you there would have been footage of me actually TELLING him my age. So, there you have it. I was portrayed as a liar when I never was….I was always truthful with Bret and I will always be true to myself. That is why I felt very strongly about disclosing this information. Feel free to rewatch the footage and you will see what I’m talking about. ..:namespace prefix = o ns = “urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office” /> Also, listen, I am an actress and I signed up for this. I signed up for the drama, the editing and I knew things would or could be twisted. I get it. It’s a great TV show and there is not a lot of drama with me so ok, they had to create drama….that’s fine. But, I don’t agree with being portrayed as a liar. I just have a huge problem with that.
So, I hope you guys understand where I’m coming from. I hope you continue to watch the show because well there is only 1 more episode!!! Can you believe it?!?! I guarantee I will be writing a blog after the finale airs to give my views on the show and what really happened.

We saw Bret asked you how old you were, you said, 32, during your sit down on the floor dinner with Bret and Sateesh. During the Parents visit, Bret asked you again and you told him 31 and you claim, if you said that, you were sorry. If you did not tell him your age, why was he asking questions about it? The tape rolled over before you apologize to Bret. Besides, I already thought you were 38 or 39, never thought you look younger. You did admit you told the other girls you were younger because of your TV thing. You lied about your age to the girls and to Bret.

Casey, I agree with you! Ambre says her age was “edited.” But she discussed her age many times after on that same episode. I guess she was “edited” those 5 or 6 times. I think Ambre looks older than 37, more like 43-years old. Lying old witch. I know you won’t win.

Ambre was the biggest disapointment on the show, I can’t believe how quick she could turn on people. she acted like a nice person and I don’t believe she is. I was really happy when she got to stay at the begining (I thought finally a clean cut high class women), although she ended up being as two faced and nasty as the best of them. From her language to getting in peoples faces, I really hoped she would have had a little bit of morals and just like the rest of them her true colors shined throgh. She had no reason to get in Daisey’s face I really thought she was going to keep her nose clean. I think Daisey would be best for Brett because Ambre is a mean spirited woman and she’s an old lady that hasn’t been able to land a man yet!!!!! Good luck you mean old witch.

We give you that you are a smart, intelligent woman - but when you use your brain to manipulate little girls to get where you’re at–makes us wonder what you will be like to Brett’s girls. What we saw was what we saw and you can’t change the fact that, yes, you looked like a very, manipulative cunning “actress”. But it takes people like you and all the Heather Mills’ of the world to teach men like Bret and Paul that -intelligence, success, and a “squeaky clean wanna-be” projection doesn’t make a woman. Whats up girl?! Anyone who watches the show knows that you are not a liar. Furthermore, you are completely different from those other girls in that you are a woman, and like Bret said, the full package! You outclass the others effortlessly because it is who you are, not who you are trying to be. Theres no false pretenses, I really hope for both you and Bret that he made the right decision: YOU! I disliked her. She was just so manipulative at times and yet at the same time tried to portray herself as this honest person on the show…I mean I know its all set up and fake but still don’t try to be all high and mighty and then be a tattle tale about how your there for bret and other people are “fake” and were famous before they got on the show i.e Kinzie Joe used to be famous before she ever got on the show and Amber and Destiny were all judgmental about it…yet Amber was a SAG card holding actress before she even got on the show…w/e though…thats “Reality” television for ya. : P

Stop worrying about what people are saying about whether or not you lied about your age! If I were in your situation (I am 35), I would have done the same thing! As it turns out though, your age being closer to Bret’s was a plus! 20yr old bimbos think they are soooo much hotter than 30yr old ladies, I have been 20yrs old before, trust me, I know. But, when you are 30yrs old, you have more to offer than looks and sex and Bret knew that all along. Just tell Bret that I said that a real lady never reveals her age and that is what you are a real lady (not a stripper bimbo like 20yr old Daisy!). Congratulations Ambre and I wish you the best of luck in your relationship with Bret. I have been a fan of Bret’s since I was 16yrs old and I’m sure you were a fan of his at that same time. Another plus is that we know who he is and we know his music. Do the 20yr olds? Or did they just find out about him at the audition or after the first season? I think Bret is smart enough to figure all this out, after all he did pick you! Now go enjoy it and forget all the hype about your “lie” and your age!

Watching the 2 of them kiss was like watching a train wreck…besides she has no sex appeal, she’s like that ugly teacher-type who you never think of as attractive. This must just be some nonsense to boost his career. What a waste of an hour and half of show…he’ll dump her old ass in a week.

First i want to apologize for my english. Ambre, i would love to tell you and in front of you, that i wish i could be instead of Daisy, to compete with you, because Daisy was to nice, to naive and not young but not enough prepare to deal with such a manipulative, mean and fake person. I’m so choked and disgusted about what you did since the first day on that show. Starting with Cristy Joe, Megan, and the brunete at the end, can’t remember her name. I’m not saying that they are angels, but running to Bret and teling him “there are not here for you, i am, i’m good, they are bad, i loveyou, they don’t”. You maybe want to believe that you are a good person, but there is no more insecure person like you in the world, just look at your face before each elimination. With all the things that i see i definitly know that you are the smartest manipulative person that i never saw on a real tv show, also a bad actress and none of your coments could ever change that. daisy wasn’t perfect but she was real…ambre was a follower and for being 37 was pretty immature if not, as immature as the other girls for ganging up on people. daisy was real and stood alone which made her a strong person. And she didnt get violent, that’s class.

You used every trick in the book to get Brett to notice you…..while using “I’m not wearing any underwear” to get him into bed. You will find out that neither of you have what it takes to substain a relationship. You fell in love with Brett without being in real, life situations while not being part of his world to understand fully the lifestyle he lives. You fell in love because of being a rock stars girlfriend, not from knowing him deeply.
Your relationship will not be lasting because of the shaky foundation its based on……You are an outspoken woman, but are deceiving yourself believing that you’ll be the only woman for Brett….or perhaps your smart enough to know capturing his heart even for a few months will promote your career and get you to where you really want to go?

Hi! I’m almost 37 and I know you didn’t lie about your age. But since your an actress are you really not 31? To be honest, I couldn’t decide between you and Daisy but when I found out you were 37 . I still didn’t know who he should pick. You do look more natural. Have you ever had plastic surgery before? Is this really Ambre Lake I’m talking to? Are you related to Ricki Lake? (the actress/ex talk show host?) What do you really think of Daisy? Do you think shes an actress? Was all of that a reality show or was everyone just acting?

I don’bt see much difference in looks between 30 yr olds and 20 yr olds. Gwen Stefani is 37 I think and she looks soo hot! She looks 22. I am 22 and I think this. I can’t be the only one.

Wow, I think most of the authors of these comments need a life. It was a TV show. It’s fake! Think about it, there is another Rock of Love being produced now. Greetings from Canada, Amber. Just wanted to drop a note to say congrats. Also amazed at the rude comments people post here - sounds like a lot of jealousy going on. No matter, I know that YOU know you’re a great gal inside and out. As far as the negative posts here, well those who insult you maybe look younger/better on the outside(which I highly doubt) but they sure are heck extremely ugly on the inside otherwise they wouldn’t spit venom.
