Sometimes American Idol gets on my nerves. Which is why I tend not to watch the results show. I really can’t stand seeing those stupid Ford commercials. I mean, come on, fake flying saucers? Could Ford cheap out anymore. Here are my top moments from tonights episode:
- Carly in the bottom 3. She’s like one of the best, not one of the worst.
- Finding out Kellie Pickler used to work at Sonic.
- The promise of a second kiss between Paula and Simon.
- Simon telling the caller that is was rude to ask why he spends more on cars than clothes.
- Watching the top 11 sing that Beatles medley and seeing the rock-n-roll nurse not even attempt to lipsinc into the microphone. She just smiled while everyone else was singing. She only sang for a hideous 3 second solo.
- The funniest moment of tonight’s show was actually in my bedroom, when my husband did a full body shutter after hearing Amanda’s voice for those 3 seconds. Sometimes my husband is REALLY funny ….
- The appearance of “Fantastic Burrito” or Fantasia as her 12 fans know her overseas during the 50 minutes of show filler.
- Amanda in the bottom 3, and then seeing her go bye bye. Rock n roll nurse gotta go back home on her Harley …
- Kristy blathering on about how her performance was good, and that her vocals were really stretched during last nights performance. And then, she was put in the bottom 3.
- Knowing the fact that Amanda won’t get to go on the American Idol Tour. Sorry BEOTCH!

Yeah, I PVRd (cdn version of Tivo) the show cause I can’t stand all the filler crap. Glad to hear that I’m not the only one hating Rock n Roll nurse. I can’t sing worth sh*t, but I don’t know why she got as far as she did…. just can’t understand that at all!

That’s actually why I stopped watching altogether about 3 seasons ago. I got so sick of them trying to fill the hour with silly things like the making of the commercial, random speeches, etc. It always got worse the more they pared it down to the top 3 too. Blech!

I also Tivo’d it so I could watch it in five minutes. All Amanda’s songs sounded the same. A whole album of them would bore me to tears.
