Tonight’s episode came out with a bang! American Idol tried something different this season, and allowed contestants perform while playing their instruments. I didn’t feel like it helped out a lot of people, but I did enjoy Josiah’s keyboard playing.

The shows highlights for me were as follows:

1. Finally figuring out the deal with the hair on the “Rock n roll Nurse” – she has bleach blond hair peeking out under a black wig (And looks retarded);
2. David Cook’s performance of the ever-popular Bryan Adams “I’ll do it for you”;
3. Paula actually saying no to someone – that tarty Southern Florida beauty queen Brooke;
4. The sweet 16 year old David (Had the vocal cord problems in childhood) and his performance of “Heaven”;
5. Syesha’s performance of “Chain of Fools”;
6. Asia’s (Girl whose dad died just days before tryouts in Atlanta) performance. As Simon put it”I loved that”;
7. Baby bird Josiah’s bad performance after a string of great ones. Love this kid- he’s thehomeless one with the southern and brittish accent;
8. And finally, Irish Carly’s AMAZING performance of “Alone” by Heart. So far, she is my favorite, even though she’s got that arm full of tats ….

And the final 24 are … REVEALED TOMORROW NIGHT!!!!

On a side note: I REALLY REALLY hope people won’t pull that same crap on www.votefortheworst.com like they did with Sanjaya last season. I really enjoy a person who can sing and has talent (Like Kelly and Carrie) and I want these kids to have a shot. It’s just so mean …
