I was inspired to write this after reading a what I felt was a kind of bland top 10 romantic movies list on another blog. (No offense, just not for me!) Hopefully these movies will provide you will some good rentals (Or gift ideas) for this Valentine’s Day.

4. The Princess Bride, 1987.
5. Say Anything, 1989.

9. Before Sunset, 2004.
10. Pride and Prejudice, 2005. (Really any version, but I’ll be hip and put down this one.)

1. Out of Sight, 1998. (The trunk scene, OMG!)
2. Romancing the Stone, 1984. (I remember watching this as a young teenager and blushing at all that chemistry!)
3. An Officer and a Gentleman, 1982. (Way to go Paula, way to go!)
4. Dirty Dancing, 1987. (That final dance/”Nobody put’s Baby in a corner!”)
5. Mulholland Drive, 2001. (Naomi Watts at her finest.)
6. Moonstruck, 1987. (I want to go to the opera with Nicolas Cage after seeing this film! Whoa!)
7. Secretary, 2002. (i’m not saying a word, just rent it. You’ll be shocked and secretly pleased.)
8. Titanic, 1997. (The car, the Irish dance, the damn scene in front of the ship.)
9. The Big Easy, 1987. (Again, another hot film from my teenager years that made me go rosy pink.)
10. Team America, 2004. (Wildest puppet sex you’ve ever seen …)
