Watch Dateline right now – Stephen Grant – “The Valentine’s Day Mystery”

148934861.jpg

If you aren’t in Detroit, you missed the murder of the year. Stephen Grant brutally murdered his wife Tara Grant last year, pretended to the media that she was missing, when all the while he had an affair with his German nanny and strangled and killed his his wife in front of his children. All this, and he was only found guilty of second degree murder … And, oh yeah, he mutilated her and scattered her body parts all over my favorite hiking spot Stoney Creek Metropark …..

Seriously, turn on your tv now!!!!

Desmond from Lost – last night’s episode “The Constant” theory

desmond.jpg

Desmond, oh Desmond.  What a great character!  After listening to a few Lost fans on my morning radio show Drew and Mike on 101.1 WRIF -www.wrif.com/dm I have a little more insight to the show.

Desmond and Penny’s relationship is the key to this show.  Her father bought the lost log book from the boat “Black Rock” which is the same Black Rock shipwreck on our island.  He bought it from a man named Hanso, who was the only one to ever read this book, which showed up 7 years after the crash on Madagascar.

I think we will learn that Penny’s dad and the Hanso Foundation have some sort of financial and scientific interest going on with the island.  I think it’s some sort of time travel study, and Ben has wrecked that by letting the natives of the island slaughter the Dharma Initiative members.  By putting out that huge electromagnetic charge, Ben is hiding access to the wormhole to the island.  So that’s why all these scientists want Ben’s head on a platter.

Don’t forget that Alex’s mom, Rousseau lost most of her crew to a sickness after visiting the black rock.  Perhaps it was the same sickness that Desmond was suffering from last night.

Penny and Desmond have to find each other … I truely believe this will happen.  But I don’t know if they will survive or not… I hope so, as every girl loves a storybook romantic ending.

I KNOW WHO JACOB FROM LOST IS ….

HE IS THE INVENTOR OF TIME TRAVEL …. AND HE HAS TAUGHT BEN ALL OF HIS DIRTY LITTLE SECRETS.

Lost episode “The Constant” is easily the best episode of season 4 … also check out my latest Lost Theries

Tonight’s episode was fantastic. First of all, I knew that they were time traveling! Damn, I’m good. But I am getting ahead of myself. Let’s review what happened tonight:

  1. It takes Desmond and Sayid over a day to reach their boat, even though it should be like a 30 minute flight.
  2. Daniel Faraday (The physicist who came to the island on the helicopter) is losing his memory from repeated exposure to radiation. Remember when we fist saw him a few episodes ago – he was crying when watching the crash footage of Oceanic flight 815 and when asked he had no idea why.
  3. Desmond suffers severe side effects leaving the island due to extreme radiation exposure, leaving him confused and not recognizing anyone. We learn he is time traveling back and forth from 1996 and current day 12/24/04.
  4. The helicopter pilot helps them and calls Daniel, who tells Desmond to meet him back in time at Oxford. They meet and Desmond helps Daniel find the way to have his rat Eloise time travel. The rat later dies, as she did not have a constant in her flashes between time. He encourages Desmond to find his, Penny.
  5. The communications operator on the boat has the same problems as Desmond, as he kept taking a boat out around the island’s waters. His buddy is dead, and later dies, but before this tells Desmond he spoke with Penny.
  6. Desmond finds her father at an auction, buying a log from a shipwreck off of the Pacific. He buys this from the HANSO family.
  7. Desmond finds Penny in 1996, forces her to give him her phone number, and tells her he will call her 12/24/04. And of course he does when Sayid fixes the boat phone.
  8. Desmond finds his constant, and finally remains in the present. All is well.
  9. Except, of course, Daniel finds a page in his log that tells him that Desmond is his CONSTANT …..
  10. And next week previews reveal a show down between the scientists and the Oceanic flight 815 people.

Now, on to some theories:

shipwreck.jpg

  • I did some research on ship wrecks in the South Pacific. Many of these wrecks left Sydney, Australia, just like Oceanic Flight 815. In fact, there was a ship named the Betsey that left Sydney, and only had 6 survivors, after they cut loose the other sick survivors of the wreck. Hmmm, has the writers also learned about this boat? We hear mention of 8 survivors from Jack last week, but know that there is only an Oceanic 6 that is rescued. By the way, The Betsey has 2 European survivors – could that be Desmond and Sayid? Maybe …

  • A Brief History of Time by Stephen Hawking has been featured a few times on Lost – Once, Ben had it on his table; and another time one of “the others” was reading it while on guard duty. Obviously, the producers have been giving us hints as to what is going on with the island. If you’ve watched the movie Donnie Darko, you will remember that his teacher tells him to read this book to figure out how to find the portal to time travel. But you have to read the later edition (Which I’ve checked out, and could not figure out how to time travel. I’m just not that smart.) Mr. Hawking also talks about Mathmatics, so I’m sure by the end of this damn show we will know what those numbers mean.

  • Electromagnetic force – Obviously, the island has a ton of electrically charged particles that cause all of the boat and plane wrecks on the island. But what is more important to remember is that when these charged particles move, they aren’t just pushing or pulling particles apart – the actual particles changes the character of the particles that swap them. So, long stretch here, but by all of these people coming to the island, they change the island, and the island changes them as well.  They sort of feed energy off of one another, as we all also know you have to have 2 polar opposites, two poles to keep things in balance. Thus, you have a Ben and John Locke. Jack and Sawyer. Kate and Clair (Or maybe Juliet). Sayid and Desmond. Hurley and Charlie. You see where I’m going with this .. one feeds off the other … one survives … one dies … you tell me who the last survivor is (I don’t count Aaron.)

Indian woman shits out baby in moving train …

shitbaby.jpg

SOME POOR BABY CAUGHT A BAD BREAK TODAY … A 33 year old Indian woman sat down on a moving train in India, pooped, then passed out. In the meantime she gave birth prematurely to a baby girl who slipped down through the toilet chute on to the train tracks. OMG!!!
Once this women realized that she had given birth, and that the baby slid through the chute and was left behind on the tracks, railway staff were alerted and the newborn was found UNHARMED lying nearby the train tracks. She is hospitalized due to the fact she was premature!
